Worst experience of my life. Turned buying my first home into a nightmare. The movers forgot to tie up my belongings (furniture, valuables, appliances, electronics, boxes, etc.), destroyed everything, lied about it for months and held my items hostage. Had to take them to court, won, and still haven’t seen a penny. Look elsewhere if you value anything you own.

Not a good experience. I will leave I will be there.

I was told to give them a try, I called and talked to Brandy. I told her what I needed and she assured me they would take care of everything. They did just that ,the truck was early & the men jumped right in . I am very pleased with porter especially the price. Thank you again

The moving team arrived ready to work with a solid plan to get my household items loaded onto their truck and carried to our new location. Jerelle, Allen, Andre and David were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the moving process and used their expertise to move all of my items with care and damage free. They went above and beyond. They also exercised safety by wearing a mask throughout the move process. Thanks for providing excellent service MyPorter!

Excellent customer service from the front office to the guys in the truck. I was totally impressed with my experience with this company. The cost was fair and the person who scheduled my move was professional, kind and courteousâ a true asset for this company. The movers arrived on time and handled my move like I was a family member. They were efficient and very courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to hire movers.

I was very impressed with the movers. They did an excellent job and were professional. The movers called ahead of time to let me know when they would arrive. Afterwards, I received a follow up call from the office asking of my experience. There was not any damage done to my condo during the moving process. Each of my items was wrapped like mummies. It was a great experience.

The movers were great but I believe I was quoted wrong. Pricing increases by $300 for over just a hour and 15 minutes

My movers were just awesome!! They were on time, very professional, friendly and helpful. I trusted them in my home and with my valuables. They were very re-assuring about taking care of everything during the move. All of my items thoroughly wrapped, and transported with care. I liked my crew so much that I requested them to come back for my delivery move scheduled a week later.

Movers were very unprofessional and damaged several items of our furniture. My Portner promised to compensate us for our damages and have not. On August 28, 2020, My Porter assisted us with a move from one house to the next within the state of Georgia. The movers showed up without proper equipment and were unprofessional. During the transport of our items, many of our furniture pieces were damaged. We experienced damage to several of our items to include a kid toy chest, full-length floor mirror, bedroom dresser, bedroom nightstand, dining room table, dining room bench, etc... The movers utilized dirty furniture coverings which left our items with lots of dust and dirt to include items made of fabric that have to be professionally cleaned. We expressed our concerns and reported the damages to My Porter, only asking them to replace the full-length floor mirror, dresser, and nightstand. We provided receipts and were promised to be compensated by management. We were then told by the Claims Department that we would receive $3400+ in compensation fees. The Claims Department then explained that they had to send the payments in $500 increments on a weekly basis, which we thought was poor business practices and unprofessional but agreed to work with them. We received one payment of $500 and have not received any further payments in 6 weeks. Now when we contact My Porter we are given many excuses as to why we have not received further payments such as fraudulent activities on their account, promises that checks will be put in the mail, etc....They have not responded to further emails and blow us off when we do call to seek further assistance. We are being told that we cannot speak with management and that we can only speak with the Claims Department. They keep giving us excuse after excuse. At this point, we have no faith or do not trust that we will receive any further payments or will be fully compensated for our damages.

My porter did a great job picking up my belongings and keeping it in storage for a year. Jerelle and Andre carefully delivered my things in my new apartment. None of my items were damaged because they carefully wrapped everything. I highly recommend.

I used this company to relocate inside of my apartment complex from 1st floor to 3rd floor. Coop, Ben and Zay were amazing! They showed up on time and went right to work.They didnâ t complain One Time! Personalities and work ethic were outstanding. Any questions I had they answered....they moved super quick, wrapped everything up properly & safely and they didnâ t break anything which was great lol. Iâ ll definitely use this company again and ask for these guys any day! Job well done!

This was my 4th time hiring movers for interstate and local moves. They all went very smoothly without issue. However, the last move was 22 years ago. I got quotes from different companies to move items from a 5 bedroom fully furnished home of 22 years. All requested photos of the items to be moved or a video walkthrough of the home so that they had a visual of the items. The person from My Porter asked a few questions about the items in the home but did not request photos or video documentation or ask very specific questions. I assumed that they are the experts and should have known what would be required to complete the job. I went with the quote from My Porter because it was the lowest and they had good reviews. They promised two 30 ft trucks and 5 guys to complete the move. The arrived a little later than expected but that was not an issue. There were 5 guys with 2 U-Haul trucks, not a truck labeled My Porter, one was larger than the other. The only supplies there the blankets supplied by U-Haul, some tape, and a roll of shrink wrap. The guys worked hard and moved my items onto the trucks. However, when they neared the end, I was informed that there was not enough room on the trucks for all my items. There was furniture, boxes, and the refrigerator that remained in the home. The Gentlemen supervising the move called their office to advise them of the situation. Suddenly it became my issue because there were items being moved that were not on their inventory list . 10 hours from the start, they completed the partial move. The supervisor indicated that they had another move the next day, but they could come to complete the move after they finished if I wanted them to. I agreed. I did not hear from anyone until over 1 month later and only because I sent them an email. The final charges were higher than quoted. All the young lady on the phone did was an attempt to justify their actions by saying that they did not promise two 30 ft trucks. In my mind, there was no plausible justification as they are supposed to be the experts. My issue was not the price. I would have paid more since I know I had a lot of items to move. I hired them to do a job and they did not complete it. Their lack of concern or follow-up says a lot about their customer no service. I ended up having to rent a 25ft U-Haul truck and pay some guys to complete the move. I would not recommend My Porter based on the overall lack of service I received.

The two Gentlemen that did the Delivery of my Storage Coop and Ben was prompt courtesy and loyal towards their job from the phone with arrival time to please signed documents. These Two Gentlemen need a bonus award or promotion for outstanding job

Jerelle and Andre were great. Showed up on time and weâ re careful and moved everything efficiently. Would definitely recommend.
