Clay did a great job with a concrete addition on our patio. He was very professional, on-time, did quality work, and was competitive and fair in pricing. He beat 2 other estimates we got. I would highly recommend NC Driveway, LLC.

Timeline of project: July 28- met for estimate 8/22 - Paid for half of the project and was given an agreement. Project was supposed to be completed August 26-30 Auguast 26- No one showed up to work on any of the driveways. August 27. - ONE driveway had the holes dug. The crew was late, we were given an excuse as to why a late start and why an early departure from Clay. August 28 and 29 - other FOUR driveway holes were dug. Crews left large piles of dirt on each side of the driveway Friday, August 30 - No work, no concrete being delivered, no communication from Clay. Weekend and Labor Day Tuesday 9/3 no work being done. Received an email with the excuse with crew in accident. We were told Wednesday concrete would be delivered. Wednesday, 9/4 - NO concrete and NO workers. Hurricane Dorian Thursday and Friday- storm had been being forecasted for close to 10 days so this was not a surprise storm. He knew it was coming. The holes that were dug over a week earlier. One driveway was dug but forms were not put in so the holes shifted and dirt began to refill. Late Thursday Sept 5- email we will keep an eye on when the holes dry to work on getting them filled Sept 6- it needs to dry and harden. Hopefully Monday . Weekend 7/8. Email Sunday saying the job will be done on Wednesday. Concrete will be delivered and poured completed by end of day. Wednesday, 9/11. Work was to begin at 10:30. Texted him at 11:30 when nothing started. He said it would be done for today. Came home about 12:30. He was just sitting in his truck at the stop sign and waved. He sat in his truck all day, while absolutely NO work was being done. I let Clay know that if work was not complete by end of day I would like my money back, minus the cost of digging the holes. Clay arrived around 5pm and refunded part of the money. Throughout this project I exchanged emails with Clay and was told this is a high end job and no one is in danger.I am just going with the flow. This project is a thorn in my side and I want to get it done. Have patience and understanding. You have been trying to get this project done for a few years I am hoping a few extra days will not spoil it and I am losing so much money on this project. Last update was that he would get the others done next Tuesday, 4 weeks after the holes were dug on the driveways. 3 weeks after we were told the job would be completed. Each email we had an excuse and a reminder about the amount of money he was losing on this project.

Wonderful work! Prompt with estimate and promptly got the work scheduled and done. The driveway looks absolutely wonderful! Graded and leveled, new gravel and packed down. Clay was beyond professional and wonderful work. His crew was amazing. Highly recommend !! I would give 6 stars if I could!
