Knoxville Engineered Home Inspections

Bert runs a fantastic business. His reporting is professional, thorough, and insightful. He even offered a military discount. We were so impressed with the quality of the report, we hired him to conduct an inspection on the home we were selling because it was having trouble selling. The report made quite a difference and we had offers to buy within a week! In his report you can expect identification and pictures of issues, criticality of the issue defined, suggestions for repairs, repair prioritization, and a general discussion of the property. I ll definitely use him again.

Bert provided expert service and advice. He was professional and courteous. He arrived at the scheduled appointment time, and was able to answer all of our questions. We highly recommend him.

Bert from NCIS was excellent and attentive! This was our first home purchase, and he was extremely thorough with the inspection. He was on time, courteous, and had all the gear necessary for the job. I would highly recommend using him and his company for any home inspection needs! A+++ service!

Bert Hull does outstanding work on every step of the Home Inspection process. I would highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a home in the Knoxville area. Bert did an excellent job. He explained everything to us very well, he was extremely thorough and helped us a great deal. He took great photos and his report was very detailed. We ultimately didn't buy the house, but we will be using him again when we find another.

Absolutely fantastic! Exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt Bert is one of the best professionals in the industry. It was truly a pleasure to deal with him and his crew ( Bert had two people assisting him). They have taken almost 400 pictures!

Awesome experience, great job and very patient in explaining issues as they found them.

Bert was very quick to get back to me. Was on time for the appointment. Took lots of photos and had the report back to me in less than a week. I highly recommend him.

They showed up on time with 4 employees to blow in 20 30lb bag of insulation and completely covered my crawl space with vapor barrier and did the job perfectly. Itr was a pleasure working with such a professional company. I would hire this company again ii needed.

NCIS did a great job and were well prepared. They explained what they were going to do ahead of time. I highly recommend them

Being a professional engineer, I'm very critical of most home inspectors. Bert and his associate were extremely knowledgeable and did what I consider the first real home inspection I've ever received. I would highly recommend NCIS to anyone who wants a home inspection especially if they don't know or understand much about construction!

Very professional. Set the schedule and kept to it. Provided an excellant report upon completion which answered nearly all of my questions. I was able to contact him by phone for my final two questions and he gave me all the information I needed plus some great follow-up tips. Couldn't be happier.

Bert Hull seems to be a very good person to deal with. Easy to talk to and work with.

He was extremely through. Very conscious of doing an excellent job. Highly recommended!

Bert Hull was truly a pleasure to deal with. He walked me around with him while he inspected the home I'm planning to purchase and explained, in detail, potential issues and monetarily reasonable ways to fix them. He conducted the inspection with a smile the whole time and was open to any and all questions that either myself or my realtor asked. Burt also provided infra red (IR) inspection at no additional cost, as a monthly special he was running. Even my realtor thought that was a nice addition to the report. I recommend that even if it cost a bit more. The report was thorough and to the point with plenty of pictures to back his findings. Burt's knowledge of building and home inspection was impressive and I plan to recommend him to friends and family when the opportunity arises.
