NEC Construction 603 LLC

Please stay away from this company. First, they make you put up 80 % of the money. That should have been the first red flag. So we paid for new bay windows. 7 times no show, no call. They put a basement window in sideways where the casement window should have been. Then got mad at me for not liking it. After an argument about not liking what they are doing, the wife of the owner calls me the next day and said they ordered the casement windows. The second red flag, they should have been ordered when I gave them all that money. The owner Chris V. ends up blaming customers any chance he gets if you do not like what they are doing. I fired him for many many reasons. Of course, they have 3,000 dollars of mine and I have 3 windows that do not fit and had to pay a few thousand to get it done properly. Bad communications, no shows, no calls, blames you, shabby work, I could go on and on but I think you get it. Please stay away from this company!

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! They walked away from the project without completing it, and with all the money. The vendor will not answer the phone. You cannot leave a voice message (disable). The vendor will not answer email inquiries. The vendor did not accept two USPS mails with delivery receipts sent by my lawyer. Very bad experience. I filed a Consumer Complaint form with the NH DOJ Attorney General Office.

We hired NEC Construction to remove a bathtub and install a handicap shower. They insisted on 80% down, which was paid on April 7, 2020, with the understanding that the work would start the second week in May. They were a no-show. Several phone messages were left at all the phone numbers listed for NEC Construction, with no response. Finally, in mid-June, they came and removed the tub, stripped the tub area to the studs, and said they would be back. After marathon calls that were now going directly to voice mail that had a full box and was not accepting calls, we managed to make contact and they came back and did the framework for the shower. We had to fight to get them to install the shower, which they did. They left us with cosmetic work to finish and a small leak in the shower drain that we have to repair. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. We are lucky that we got a working shower and the only reason we did is that we know some of their family. That was our saving grace!

First, we hired this company when they were called 603GSC last year. Their work was great and after seeing reviews here I am grateful they completed our HUGE job although VERY slowly. They required 80% upfront and thankfully did not walk away with our money. However, there were MANY times they did not show up for work, leaving our house barely liveable for 5-6 months! Overall, they did amazing work but also left us with some big issues that later cost us a few thousand dollars due to a plumbing issue that later resulted in black mold in our basement and leaving having to replace our wall to wall carpeting in the finished part of our basement. There was another issue that we reached out to them to address and Chris V. actually showed up with his wife (under his then new company NEC Construction 603 LLC) to chat with us about fixing a problem they created. He promised to be back, pay for the necessary parts and fix our problem. SEVERAL weeks and phone calls later, they have not returned our calls or answered multiple emails and texts and now I see they have started another company. We WILL find a way to let people know NOT to hire them!!! While ours is a better story than others, these people need to be made accountable for stealing from so many trusting individuals. I see they are using photos from our reno for their new company CRV Construction and Tiny Homes. I will do everything I can to let others know our story and that they cannot be trusted. If I could give them Zero Stars I would. They ripped off multiple people in Peterborough for Tens of Thousands of dollars. My Mother is included in this. From April until July they worked 12.5 hours then stopped showing up. The State AG and Department of Justice have gotten involved. They have changed their name to CRV Construction and Tiny Homes as of August.

BEWARE. They started the work and then disappeared with the rest of our money. Unable to reach them by phone or email for over a week now. Do not hire them. If you have used them and they did this to you, highly recommend filing a complaint with the AG office. Completely unacceptable.

Multiple deferrals. Work never done. Poor communication.

Beware! 7They walked away from the project without completing it, and with all the money! Poor quality workmanship! Blocked my calls and texts. Very bad experience! Be very wary!

He hasnâ  t done the work yet. But I have hired him. He is very knowledgeable and I feel very trustworthy.

They are very conscious, they come on time, and their work is good.
