We' re SO glad I went with N.E.S.T. Choosing a contractor can be a hit or miss... through experience we learned how important it is to go with a company who offers transparency, effective communication, and solid contracts. One of the biggest appeals of N.E.S.T was their customer portal. We got updates every step of the way! - with pictures and explanations of what work was completed each day they were on site. This was incredible!! It not only alleviated the stress of unknowns it also shows how much effort and they put behind their work with nothing to hide and pictures to prove it. I am so happy with my new kitchen; especially my sink! Talking with the team on-site and online was actually enjoyable and all my questions were answered thoroughly (and I ask alot of questions!). I always felt comfortable communicating and being met with honest answers. I am already looking forward the outdoor projects we have lined up with N.E.S.T.

Mike has a salesman personality and comes off very professional and reasonable, at first. Weâ ve had so many issues since the moment the contract was signed. I hired him to build a fence on 7/25/24, agreed upon timeframe from commencement to completion was 2 days. My fence is still not done 8/28/24. Mike has lied to me numerous times, his â teamâ (hired out contractors who he had never met him) made mistake after mistake based on incorrect information provided by him, and lack of communication on his side. He has gone no contact for weeks, weeks with no progress on the fence, and now he is threatening us with arbitration, as if we did something wrong. He instructed his team to close up our fence where a gate was supposed to be. This caused so many problems, vehicles couldnâ t get out, other contractors were trapped in. Mike said he would remove it by the next dayâ ¦ it was closed up for 25 days! Our property was damaged by people trying to get out. The fence is primarily for my special needs daughter, due to high risk for elopement. I find it so shameful that this young man is trying to take advantage of a family with 3 disabled people in the household. We are not prey! He speaks to us in such a condescending way, like we are ignorant. For those checking for reviews, please take major caution before choosing N.E.S.T. Construction, and if you already have, be sure you keep all communication by text or email. I spoke with him over the phone and in person at least a third of the conversations, and yesterday he told us we should have written and not called him when there were issues, because basically there is no documentation to prove what he said. But we have security cameras that caught most conversations. There are so many things I didnâ t even mention in this review. If Mike responds to me or my husband to resolve this, I will update my review with the resolution provided.

NEST has always been promp, friendly, and professional. I will continue to use their services and highly recommend them.
