Overall great experience will hire again!

We did have to make some compromises on the tile, we couldn't find a pure white tile like my wife wanted, but the work is very good. He was able to come back with a quote that fit my budget and did the work as promised. Overall, I am satisfied.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with!!!1 Disrespectful and rude. They will give you a quote, a contract and do not honor their word. I've been dealing with them since October 2021 trying to recoup funds because the job was never completed. They have no idea what they are doing. I had to file a complaint with Fair claims in order to get some of our money back. We had an arbitration in February. We were awarded funds due back to us per decision of Fair claims that should have been paid by February 28,2022. I've sent several emails to New Era asking them to honor the Fair claims decision. So many promises were made as to when we would receive the money and each time they were broken. The amount awarded was under $ 2,000.00!!!! I gave them so many chances it's ridiculous. It is now the end of April, and we just received a partial payment of $400.00. We've been very patient. They insist on paying when they feel like it. The condition our home was left in, I wouldn't do to a dog. I had no bathroom through the entire winter!! They were very difficult people to deal with. They don't show up for work on time, they leave when they want, and they treat your home like they want to. There were constant disagreements about the quality of the work being done. I was so stressed to have to go through this and it made my health conditions worse. I am warning people not to deal with New Era Renovations!!! You will be very disappointed. The guy they have representing the company is a downright rip off and has no remorse taking money from hard working people. He is not professional and very difficult to get your point across to him. I really trusted these people; they gave me a copy of their insurance policy only to find out that they aren't even insured. The only thing that was right was that they do have an active license number they are working under with the state of N.J. Please do your research before you sign any contracts with them. Make sure the wording is correct in your contract and if there are changes during the job, make sure the changes are updated on the initial contract. Don't agree to anything that is not written out completely, there is always words lost in translation with this company. Please do your research before choosing a company, there are so many wicked and fraudulent companies out here. If you want your home to turn out beautiful DO NOT use this company. I would not wish this on my worst enemy, to be displaced, cold, and annoyed! New Era Renovations does not deserve any stars at all!!! The only reason they have a half star is because I couldn't leave it blank!!!
