Bathroom Remodel
Our roof developed a leak. There was inside damage, & with an inspection coming up soon, this was a nightmare.
The local roofers were busy but promised to stop by later in the day. Then Narciso Torres/NGT Construction showed up with a patching product ready to do the work.
He wanted $100 for materials + $100 for labor. We reluctantly chose to have him do it, feeling somewhat desperate, as there were more heavy rains forecasted.
After about 10 minutes, he was done, and said there was only about ½" of the product left over. I paid him his $200 + $16.58 tax, and he left.
Upon inspection, there were spots that looked poorly covered. He had just slopped the stuff on. After more rain, the "repaired" location still leaked. We bought more of the same product he'd used & re-coated the original areas he'd covered ? BUT THIS USED AT MOST 1 1/2 QUART OF PRODUCT!
We realized he had grossly misrepresented the amount of product he?d used, plus charged $20 for phantom materials, & no repair.
