I have been in the Real Estate business for 12 years and BG Construction has been the most professional contractor I have worked with. I got a detailed quote the same day they visited my house. They were always on time and the team of worked round the clock. The finished the project at the timeframe given initially. They had to reinforce glass staircase which required a tremendous amount of knowledge, do drywall, plaster and paint. They are all very respectful and clean. They left the my home looking like there was no construction work done, very clean! My husband & I can’t be happier and from now on we will only use BG Construction for our home remodeling and also will refer them to all my clients.

He was always on time, always answered any questions that I had and addressed issues that came up. I looked into a number of other companies before hiring for this job and Nico's pricing was very reasonable. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone because they are a great value for the money and he does what he says he will do. Overall I would recommend to family and friends because they really did do a good job!

I entered into a business contract with BG construction. The initial presentation during the job interview was vey good. He was careful and thorough in his presentation as to what would be done. We then entered into a mutually contract that contained clear language that the contractor, Mr. Nico Villamizar, would telephone me twice daily every day to inform me as to progress and updates of the project. He failed to do so. Approximately two weeks after he received credit card payment he began to ignore all texts, emails and telephone calls for a period of 4-5 days.. Ultimately this resulted in a letter to him indicating possible impending termination if there were no response in 24 hours. He responded in what I felt was a very negative manner which led me to the conclusion that I would be unable to work with him further. He was sent another certified letter, along with one sent by UPS, this time of termination. He appeared unable to accept termination in his email correspondence. . He sent emails questioning it and letting me know that it was not to my advantage to do so. I retained those emails. Clearly this was incorrect. He had not completed permit applications after three weeks. I found this alarming. There were many other serious issues however the major issue which resulted in his termination was failure to communicate by telephone twice daily as required by the signed contract which I possess, in order to keep me updated and informed as to what he was doing with regard to the project. I really had no idea what might have been occurring as regarding any activities at all that were occurring. This was a blatant contract violation. This communication was important to me and conveyed to him as I lived some 400-500 miles away from the construction site. There would be none other than an extremely valid reason for me to consider terminating with a contractor and his construction company, only to have to hire another one, start from scratch, and set the clock back by almost one month. Mr. Villamizar was told on two (2) occasions that I lived out of town and was paying rent in one city and a mortgage in the other and that I was under time pressure due to this financial constraint. Obviously I was extremely disappointed. I cannot recommend the services of this company.

We hired Nico and his crew to remove kitchen cabinets, soffets and the pantry then to repair the drywall. Nico and his crew were extraordinary. The crew arrived exactly when they said they would. First, they covered the floors and the furniture then put up plastic so the dust would be contained. They were unbelievable, and they cleaned up the dirt and dust at the end of each day. We're hiring Nico and his crew for more projects.

my experience was very positive--the workmanship was 1st class as were the materials. The workman were efficient ,neat and very friendly. I had a bathroom remodeled, and a Kitchen painted and modernized. Very good experience. Would use again and recommend.

I retained BG Construction to remove a 40-year-old drywall ceiling on my covered patio and replace it with tongue and groove wood. We added 11 high-hats, new fans, in-ceiling speakers and an outdoor LED TV. They also recognized some old water damaged beams which they structurally reinforced to maintain the integrity of my patio roof. They then stained and finished the new ceiling with stunning results. Overall, I found BG to be very professional, well organized and neat in both their prep and clean-up. They were also very fairly priced and came in at budget with no surprises. I plan on using them for additional projects and improvements in my home.
