NRG Clean Power, Inc.

Do not hire this company! We have solar and wanted battery backup. We went with NRG Clean Power in April 2022. I currently have a battery sitting in my garage, uninstalled. Every estimate they have given for completion has been wrong (the first saleswoman said 6 8 weeks for a simple battery-only install!). Communications are horrible. The only time this company has initiated contact is when payment is due. In July (after I contacted them to ask about the 6 8 week estimate), I was told the permit application had been kicked back by the fire department, so it would take a couple more weeks to get it approved. The permit was approved at the end of October (I only found this out when I received a payment request via email). I called to ask about the payment request and was told at that time that installs were being scheduled 2-4 weeks out, so I would be contacted soon to schedule the installation. In late November and again in December, I reached out to NRG Clean Power to ask about my installation. After contacting NRC Clean Power executives (via LinkedIn), I was given an installation date of January 16th (a Monday). I received a call on Friday, January 13th, telling me the installation had been canceled and would have to be rescheduled. After receiving a new project manager, I was given an installation date of February 28th (today). I emailed my project manager on Thursday, February 23rd, just to check to see if everything was in order. His response was, I have not received any update from the installer that there will be a delay, which means this is still scheduled for 02/28/23. Gee, do you think maybe you could just check with the installer to confirm? Well, it is 10 am, and I have not seen or heard anything from NRG or the installer. In six weeks, it will be one year since we started this debacle. It is time for more frustrating attempts at communication with this company. Save yourself the trouble, and for anything solar-related, go with a different company.

It was a hard process but they gave us a satisfying result. It was not long since asked NRG Clean Power to remove our roof and install the solar panels. Everything was ready, all we needed to wait was for them to come over and start the work. To our surprise, the pros that went to our house was kind and professional. Installation was done, they also made sure that everything was working properly before they left. We are thankful for what you have done.

NRG Clean power sent very competent personnel to help me determine home many Panamaâ s I needed. They gave a cost estimate at the initial visit. An inspector came to evaluate the roof and a plan was emailed to me. The installation crew were experienced, friendly ant time efficient. They were able to install all the panels in one day instead of two. The electrical system was connected to the P G & E service without a hitch. It passed all inspections along the way. I am very pleased with the service of this company. I highly recommend them.

We are doing solar, HVAC, and windows. Alexis is our project manager, and has been awesome to work with. If she says she is going to do something, she does it! Everybody they have sent to the house, has been professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. No messing around. The solar and HVAC have just been completed. And the windows will be next. So far, we couldn't be happier.

NRG Solar is a great company! The work was done in a timely fashion with courteous workers. The sales team (Talina), gave an excellent presentation and walked me through every step of the process, there were no surprises. I would recommend this company to any of my friends interested in solar. We are now just waiting on Edison to give us the go ahead to turn on the solar.

Leo and Fernando did a great job and found an air leak in and of my new ducts. They Repaired it and then cleaned the ducts again. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy. The last company I went did a horrible job, this company was thorough + even fixed the door the last company damaged.
