The water pump for my over 16 year old central air conditioner stopped working and, as a result, I discovered water in my basement. I searched Home Advisor for a company to fix the problemand selected NSHEC based on customer reviews. I was able to schedule a service call online for that afternoon, then had a few questions about the issue and repair that I wanted answered before having them come out. I called and left a message, they returned my call within minutes, discussed my issue, explained what the possible issue was, how long it would take to fix it as well as the estimated cost of the repair. The technician, I believe his name is Jake, arrived on time and had the part on his truck. He quickly made the repair, explained what he did and that it is common for the these pumps to eventually stop working. If that should happen again in the future, the new pump was wired to shut down the ac and getting water in the basement would now be averted. The final cost was a few dollars more than the phone estimate, service was very prompt, the technician knowledgeable, quick, very pleasant and answered all of my questions before and after the repair. I wouldn't hesitate to call NSHEC again should another issue arise in the future.
