This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had with a contractor. It took them weekes to measure and have plexiglass made for four doors then when it arrived, the pieces didnt fit because the measurements were wrong. Such a simple job and they couldnt get it done. The only reason why they got three stars for customer service was because 1) I got my money back in full and 2) the girl in the office Ayana is probably the only competent person in the company and she was very helpful NEVER AGAIN would I put myself through this nightmare

Great great price offer BUT...Poor management and skeleton staff for SATURDAYS resulting in twice delayed door installation. They should phase out weekend service altogether or have better management and backup available contractor on weekends. NO excuses. Can't have one foot in and one foot out especially when 50% of deposit has been paid to them. And now this is becoming an almost 2 month turnaround (including door creation). I usually find vendors through human referrals and rarely through service websites for this very exact reason.

Unprofessional and unorganized

To describe the work in one word, Excellent. The estimator, Chazz, walked us through every step of the way and was more than helpful when picking a new door. The installer was polite, neat, and clean. I would 100% recommend them and will be referring NYC Service to anyone that asks.

Showed up at my house less the 2 hrs after initial call was made. They repaired my doors within 15 minutes . Price was fair.

My first contractor, Anthony did a really shoddy job. The door didn't close properly and couldn't even lock. It took 3 weeks of constant follow up to get another contractor to come by and fix it. Peter did a great job, and the only reason why this rating isn't lower. I wish I had him the first time around! All in all, it was more expensive and not much better than if I just had home depot come and install it themselves. So make sure if you do hire them to fully check the work before letting them go.

They were available to come out immediately, and Peter was super awesome when he arrived. He got right to work on trying to resolve the issue of my metal door not fitting within the door frame anymore. He had the replacement parts on hand and the whole thing took less than an hour. The only way to improve upon this service is if it were free! :)

I was given an estimate for hanging a solid door and weather proofing an entrance door. When they installed the interior door they gave me a hollow one. I called to complain and they wanted me to pay an extra 175. The estimator insisted that the price he gave me was for a hollow door, even though I specifically requested a solid, since it was going to be dividing an apartment I was renting. It was a mistake on their part, but they did not do right by the customer. Unacceptable.
