"It is very unfortunate to have this false statement review on my company business page because reputation and customer service is how I run this business. As in all my estimates and follow-ups I always provide my social media handles, websites, and a long list of references of customers in the past. Being in the paver and pool industry there are a lot of illegitimate companies who will take your money and run, whether they start the job or not. For everyone else reading this false negative review, Mr. Jamal unfortunately was scammed by one of those companies (Premier Pools and Spas). They had been contracted to build a new pool, marble paver deck, as well as refinishing the inside of said pool. Unfortunately Premier had only finished the concrete shell, plumbing, and electrical portion of the pool and failed to finish the marble decking and the finish inside the pool. That is when Mr. Jamal had contacted us to see if it we were able to finish the job and we did. We installed the marble pavers that Premier had already delivered onsite, did the finish of the pool (sky blue plaster) and Mr. Jamal even had us replace all the natural grass in his backyard with synthetic turf... Nonetheless we received a complaint on Sept,27,2022 that the pavers around the coping were sinking. Our office spoke to Mr. Jamal about the issue that our installation warranty has expired. As in all of our jobs we included a 3-month installation warranty for any occurrence of our work and it had been four months since completion. We explained that there would be a small cost to have someone go out there to lift the pavers, add some sand and compact. For us contractors being in the industry it's no big deal and nobody should be charging thousands to lift a few pavers and add more sand underneath. But upon further research and documentation that we have saved from the job as well as multiple lawsuits and complaints from other customers directly with Premier pools we found the issue that the technicality of it was that the backfill Premier had placed back around the shell of the pool was never compacted properly and because of that it had created air pockets deep in the ground. Thus creating air pockets which over time with the rain and settlement will eventually be filled with said dirt, causing everything above from the concrete sand to the paver itself to sink. In pool construction terminology this is called "pencil compaction" and it is a very important process to eliminate any air cavities that would cause paving sinkage in the future. I have attached a link below for further research. https://www.consolidationenterprises.com/our-services/pencil-compaction Moving on, I also explained to Mr. Jamal that we can not warrant another companies work. Especially a company that is stealing from people and not finishing said jobs. For the people at home please do your research, investigate, shop around. Majority of the time a good, honest, reputable company will not push you or pressure you into a sale. This is just bad business. And If you happen to be potential client I would be more than happy to show you said pictures, message transcripts between our communication, and contract terms. But simply put I cannot warrant another company's poor workmanship and for the fact of being out of the warranty extension, expecting someone to just do this for free, no questions asked is a little out of line."
