We had our heating system repaired and serviced at the beginning of winter and the efficiency of our whole system is so much improved that we are saving money every month. Heating through the whole house is much more even and thorough- even in old weather we donà  à ¢à  à  à  à  t have the cold spots we had before and can run the system at a much lower temp than we did before. Excellent company and service.

My boiler went out, National Plumbing came out promptly, they are very personable, they put in the ground and everything worked. The connection are done well. I am happy with the work and I would recommend them any day to anyone.

I hired National Plumbing and Heating to replace a 30+-year-old boiler and a hot water heater in my home. Prior to hiring National, Barry Gans explained exactly what he would provide, what work the job entailed and what to expect. His pricing was fair and reasonable and most importantly to my wife and I was his commitment to stand by his work. The boiler is now in its second heating season and an issue popped up. I called Mr. Gans and within a day or two he came and the issue was resolved. This was well past the year guarantee, but he covered it. I usually do not write reviews, but it is rare to find a contractor in any profession who has performed as Mr. Gans and National P&H has. He priced the job at a fair and reasonable cost, arrived on the day and time promised, completed the job earlier than expected, there were no hidden or extra costs, and most important to us, proved over time that he stands behind his work.

I hired National Plumbing and Heating on October 26, 2017 to replace the entire main stack in my house and do all plumbing for two upper bathrooms. After they had "finished", another plumber saw their work and said it would all have to be redone for the DOB to approve. I didn't believe him. But a second, third, and fourth plumber told me the same thing. I called Keith Gans (son of the owner) who swore it was all to code. Well...he was wrong. And he was completely belligerent which I guess was his strategy in just getting me to go away, which I decided to do. So I just paid someone else to redo 90% of it. Then on a whim I asked Keith to come back and finish putting the fixtures on in the bathrooms he had done, it is listed as a line item on the signed contract I still have. Keith came and actually did it. I was shocked! But then Keith wanted $2500. When I mentioned the contract he blew up. I ended up giving him $1000 so that I wouldn't have to hear his terrible voice any more. But then my shower started leaking. The shower pan needed to be replaced. For another $2600. I had just resigned to pay for it, but my wife text Keith to tell him that he had wronged us again. Keith wrote these 3 texts back: "You and him rob me for money I hope you have the worst luck there" "KARMA ***** lmao" "Good luck with that". So I guess there wasn't any kind of warranty. I paid someone else to do the work. Then I finally took my first retribution and reported them to the better business bureau. It's not a legal matter (yet), but it carries a certain repetitional weight. Several weeks later, they responded angrily, and within one hour of their response, someone "anonymously" called Child Protective Services on me, using only my middle name, which was the only name Keith happened to know. What he didn't realize is that this in itself is a Class A Misdemeanor, and now (very far out of my hands) it is being investigated by 2 separate agencies with legal authority. I would describe working with these people as "scary".

I enjoyed working with this company- very professional- used them for years since- they gave me terms and reasonable pricing, for investment property. I called them and they delivered each time. They dealt with the tenants and their issues.

Competent. Honest. Reasonable fees. On time.

They did a great job replacing the boiler and hot water heater. They compleated the job in one day despite the difficulties of working in a very tight space with limited access.

These guys were super friendly, and completed the job in a timely fashion, but it should be said that they ONLY do plumbing and nothing else, so I was sad when they refused to patch the walls where they needed to make large holes to run the pipes, so that means I need to hire another person to do the cleanup work. Also: they left their equipment in our yard for more than a week after they finished the job. Otherwise they were accommodating and friendly, so I feel they deserve 4 stars.

Sorry, but I do not recommend this work. It was poor and unprofessional.

Gas leak was detected and gas was shut down by utility company. Barry was there the next day. His men were extremely pleasant to deal with, thorough and professional. Checked joints and replaced fittings and was able to get my gas up and running

These guys replaced a hot water heater and did a great job. I had very old pipes and one broke on the boiler near the water heater. They replaced the entire pipe and left the place as clean as it was when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them for all my plumbing needs. Real professionals that go out of their way to make it right.
