VanGuard Construction of TN, LLC

Super happy with Vanguard. Help me with my home after the big tornado. They were timely and efficient and helped me while I was in a tight spot. Since then I have referred them to multiple people with very positive results across the board. I will definitely use them again should the opportunity arise and continue to recommend them to others.

Great builder. The build exceeded our expectations. His price was substantially less than the other bids. Adam did quote 4 months and take 5 but we were exceptionally happy all the same. We have well over 100k in equity

Our experience with this builder was an absolute nightmare. We faced approximately $90,000 in remediation, repairs, and additional work. Problems included redoing all interior flooring and painting, correcting excavation, drainage, and landscaping issues requiring 26 tri-axle loads of dirt, redoing shower tile, rebuilding portions of the deck and stairs, redoing porch pillars, fixing falling gutters, and repairing a hole in the roof. These are just some of the issues?not the complete list. We also had to pay to finish work that was supposed to be included in the agreed-upon floor plan. To make matters worse, we found an employee sleeping inside our home, discovered cases of beer bottles around the property, and encountered cigarette smoking inside the house. The experience culminated in an approximately 18-month legal dispute and tremendous financial and emotional stress. This was far beyond a few minor construction issues. We would never hire this builder again and strongly caution

0 stars. 0/10 would not recommend. This contract started July 2025. It is July 2026 and it?s still unfinished and still continuously creating more problems and additional expenses. This was, without question, the worst experience I?ve ever had with a contractor. Communication was consistently poor from the start. We were repeatedly given dates and times that were not honored. There were numerous no-shows with no communication, and left wondering if anyone was coming. Every part of the project required us to chase updates instead of Adam proactively communicating. The job we paid for was never completed. Many of the workers were inexperienced, and the work quality was far below what anyone should expect from a professional contractor. We had to point out issue after issue, and problems were either ignored or poorly repaired. The most frustrating part is that our roof is leaking again and the ceiling was never finished from the first roof leak.

I worked with Vanguard for a repair. Very affordable, communicate effectively, work around your schedule, and patient. Very smooth process. I will be working with Vanguard in the future.

It was always easy to communicate with Adam. It was also easy to work and collaborate and then things that could have been a problem, were no longer a problem. And he built a beautiful home.

Adam and his team worked with my budget to create an amazing encapsulated shed under our deck. Adam had great communication with the progress of our project and made sure everything was built to our satisfaction.

VanGuard Construction was exceptional to work with building the home of our dreams. The owner Adam Glenn was professional, reliable and patient as I added and changed things to the build. He understood my vision and made it happen. We have now been in the home 14 years with no issues and going strong. Last year was a frightening test to our home, we were hit by a tornado. When we walked out to access damages, we first noticed the newer builds around our home were damaged, missing roof shingles, and siding. We walked the perimeter of our home and it was in perfect condition even with those 100mph winds. I?m so grateful for our home and all the hands that participated in the build. Adam is knowledgeable and meticulous about his work, and those that work for him. I highly recommend VanGuard Construction of Tennessee.

Vanguard built a 50x50 detached garage for us. They went off a diagram a drew up and made it come to life. They did the work they promised and responded timely anytime I had a concern. Garage looks great.

We had Vanguard build our home. Adam, the owner was very easy to communicate with and always responsive to our requests. Whenever a problem came up, they were quick to take care of it for us and address our concerns. Several times they went above and beyond what was required, and did everything they could to build the home just the way we wanted. We love our new home!

I hired Vanguard to build our detached garage and we are very happy with the results. The quality of work was excellent and the rate was reasonable. I was able to communicate directly with the owner and not get shuffled around with customer service agents. I would recommend Vanguard if you have construction projects.

Run as far away as you can. The owner, Adam Glenn is a crook. I hired them to build a house for me and itâ s nothing but a nightmare. Didnâ t know how to read blue prints. Complete disregard to structural requirements construction basics. Had unlicensed electricians, plumbers, hvac contractors doing work. Plumbing inspector put stop work orders on them twice and finally ordered them to rip out all the plumbing and start over. In the end they just walked away. There is so much more I could say. Adam Glenn, owner is nothing but a liar, immoral con man and should be in jail.

Felt like a valued customer and I multiple occasions they went outside of their way to address something that wasnâ t even part of the job they were called to do.
