From the design the kitchen to finish, I had nothing but a great experience. Gilbert has a great knowledge of product and design. Him and his team are very professional. He design my kitchen so beautiful. They are very quick and particular in installing cabinets. Their work is extremely neat and clean. They will not finish until they are satisfy for their work. I highly recommend him.

Our house underwent an extensive remodel/addition. The house was originally built in 1925. As can be the case with older homes, we encountered A TON of problems. Gil tackled each issue and provided guidance on how best to handle each item. (knob/tube wiring, old plumbing, asbestos, house leveling, moving load bearing walls, you name it... we had it.) The craftsmanship, design, and attention to detail were amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the entire group. Rob and his team (Joe and Mike) were always punctual, trustworthy and generally fun to be around, and they clearly take pride in their work. The project became significantly more extensive than we first planned, however the end result is far better than we could have ever imagined. The team was able to dramatically improve the look and function of our house. My family and I could not be happier with the outcome, however we will miss seeing the team on a daily basis. Their patience and friendly demeanor were a welcome distraction from a very difficult project.

They designed and built my dream kitchen! Always professional and showed up when they said they would. They have gone above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the work. Gil and Rob took the time to answer any questions I had throughout the entire process. We will continue to use them for any upcoming project and recommend them to everyone we know!

Gilbert our general contractor has added approx. 1000 sq ft, he has gotten over his head. Much is incorrect, our home has been left uninhabitable! We have been going through a really rough time over here. Are builder Gilbert T. with Nehemiah Home Solutions LLC started our project in April 2017 and was supposed to have been completed in September of 2017. In August had some to ceiling height differentiations we were unsatisfied with and wanted change. He had originally told us the only way to have 10 ceilings because we had scissor trusses, was we would have to take our entire roof off that would cost us approximately $50000. So we agreed to have 8 ceilings in our kitchen 12 cathedral point in the living room going back down to 8 and the addition being 10, However once that was completed my husband said he did not like it. The builder Gilbert then told us he could get an engineer and see if we could make it all 10. For an extra $15000 he said sure we can make it all 10. A little late in our opinion! During a meeting, I held him accountable stating he was our advocate and we were unsatisfied with the direction he led us in now having to pay for this twice. He blurted out I will pay for it! When I left the room, he then told my husband he would pay for half of it. When we decided upon these major changes we decided to add more patio to the new patio to have a completed look at the back of our house. Knowing we lived here for 18 years we would never have a crane here again and go through a major addition again. However, we agreed to that last October and it was not until February 8th when the additional foundation for the patio was poured. After this foundation was poured I requested that the guys put a piece of rebar in the corner knowing there was gonna be a pole there. They said no Gilbert did not mention that to them. I then called Gilbert asking him, he said no they can drill it later and epoxy it. I then began to ponder the fact that I did not see them pour a foundation footer for the added patio. I brought it up to my husband he advised me to ask the builder Gilbert. I did, he said it should be fine we will just have to backfill it every 5 to 7 years. I thought this was odd but trusted. Moving on to March 26th John and his crew, a hired contractor Gilbert acquired, began removing shingles, drip edge etc to put on new trusses. They worked Monday-Thursday. Upon arriving at our job Thursday I heard John call Gilbert, being we had all windows open and this was the beginning of not using the air conditioning, stating he was alarmed that the beam had turn 3/4 of an inch overnight. Gilberts response was to put a supporting pole up. John did, which is when he noticed play in the corner pole. So upon working on the changes John found the foundation and the supporting column not to be fit for the trusses and new roof addition. He Gathered his crew and left the worksite. After this, we were alerted that the permit had expired in January as well
Response from Nehemiah Home Solutions, LLC
"UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS A PROJECT THAT THE CLIENT COULD NOT AFFORD FROM THE BEGINNING. They were given the option up front and could not afford it. Then after starting they kept adding to the project and making upgrades they couldn't afford. No matter how many times I said no, they can't afford it they kept going. Yes, one of my subs lied and did not put a footer in when he said he did. We agreed to fix it at our cost. It was around $1000. What they are leaving off here is that they owed us $27,000 from previous upgrades/etc and where refusing to pay. I had no choice but to stop working and lien the property (first time in over 20 years of business). The beam was treated lumber because it was for a covered porch(another upgrade they couldn't afford) and one of the 2 boards was a little warped. nothing a couple of structural screws could not repair."

They give a vague job description in the quote so that during the build to do the work involved they add additional hidden costs. They also add work into the scope without your permission then make you pay for it or they don't come to work. They disappear without any contact for days at a time. We were on a time schedule and they took 3 vacations during our build. None of the workers have any real experience and the general contractor is never on site so there are mistakes daily.
