Had old washer trouble. Bill came out within the hour. Great guy. Diagnosed issue quickly and instead of trying to sell me a new switch did a wiring work around. Also took a quick look at a broken icemaker. He also gave some unrelated advice. He saw a bunch of empty Amazon boxes I had stored in my basement and warned me they could contain roaches which is something I would never have thought of. Great experience. Highly recommend

Bill was great! He arrived on time and listened to me as I explained what the refrig was doing. The refrig was working except it made a loud noise throughout the day. We had put up with this noise because the seller told us she had done everything and was told it could not be fixed. Well, Bill had it diagnosed and fixed in 45 minutes! I should have called sooner!!

I must admit I never give anyone 5 stars, but Bill gets pretty close. I am a pretty handy person, having repaired a number of my appliances (Samsung drier, washer) and heater when they have a problem. After 2 attempts to repair my LG refrigerator - french door, double draws, with bells and whistles (automatic defrost not working) I contacted Neightborhood Appliances. Bill was friendly and courteous and offered me a lot of ideas over the phone, but after trying them still no luck. I asked Bill to come out. Masks on, and within 10-15 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. Part came in, Bill came out, masks on again. Installation done. Refrigerator back up. Family happy - priceless!
