Customer service and responsiveness was awesome...then we got most of the installation done. Items were missing and others were broken. They insisted on final payments and ignored emails and texts about reorder status or timeframe for the replacement parts multiple times, the only thing we could get is a generic response from someone not involved in the ordering or installation. It's odd that once they receive most of the money their responsiveness and quality of service took a drastic decline. The project manager responded to my email telling me that he would give me a response and a week later I asked for a follow-up and still haven't received one. Why do I need to beg to find out where the items I've spent over $30k for are??? Why even bother responding with an email that you're going to look into it when you could just look into it and respond with an answer? It seems like we have gone out of our way to not acknowledge in writing what is missing and what arrived broken and when

I strongly urge anyone considering Neighborhood Windows & Doors to choose a different provider and to review their Yelp feedback as part of your due diligence. Windows and doors are a major investment, and while many companies offer similar products, customer support when problems arise is what truly matters, and that was severely lacking in my experience. My project involved repeated issues, including poor stucco work and broken window and shower components, resulting in more than $5,000 in out-of-pocket costs to correct failed repairs. After two unsuccessful stucco repair attempts, even intervention by my preferred contractor could not fully undo the original damage. During a recent remodel, my contractor also discovered that none of my downstairs windows had insulation, with only caulking and the windowsill separating the interior from the exterior, leading to visible condensation. Avoid them!

I replaced 2 exterior doors and one window with hurricane impact resistant windows. I worked with Cody. He did a great job helping me select each one, then followed the install till completion. He was great. Everything passed inspection with flying colors.

Cocoa office is absolutely customer service free. I don't think they talk to each other. We have UNPERMITTED work from these people. They claimed they were amending the original permit. They didn't correct the permit. They refuse to amend the permit. We applied for credit for the first contract work. They put the credit limit for the exact amount. So, when the fees started hitting it was saying over credit limit. Waited months for the wrong g windows. One is still wrong but not worth correcting at this point. We have too many other issues with them.. Screens were months after the Iintall. Some were wrong. Sills broken during install took even longer. We have two egress windows that I cannot open. They say we have to do a warrantyclaim. I think they were installed with the frames twisted. Not a product problem. They won't do anthibg. They have done in permitted work, messed with my credit and now they have to ci, the permit issue before we can get our grant money back further affecting our credit to say nothing about time spent contacting them or waiting for them. And the new windows sweat buckets when it gets cold or rains.

In March of 2023, I ordered all the windows in my house and a French-door to be replaced and installed by Neighborhood Windows & Doors. In June their window installer crew came to install the windows, however, the entire upstairs (7 windows) were the wrong windows. They were all privacy windows that I didn't order and you could not see outside. They had to stop the installation and order the correct windows. In August, the replacement windows arrived and were replaced; however, they had to come back because one of the windows was missing a screw and wouldn't pass inspection, one window was missing a screen, two other windows had broken rubber sealing, and they again ordered the wrong window for the bathroom. When it rains, condensation builds up on the inside of the windows and a howling noise and air is coming through the upstairs bedroom windows. I wrote an email in December; however, they answered that condensation is normal inside the house; however, I didn't have condensation inside prior to having the new windows installed. They completely ignored the howling noise of the air coming through the windows. I sent another email to today, March 3, 2024, to find out when they will take care of this issue. It's been a year since I ordered these $17,500 windows and I'm so disappointed. I guess it's come to the point where I'm going to have to report them and possibly speak with an attorney. I have never had such an awful experience and have never be forced to report a company but I guess there's always a first. BEWARE of their high pressure sales pitch. Substandard work, professionalism and product.

I wanted to like this company, and I don't review very often, but working with this company has been the worst experience I have had with a contractor, bar none. If I can spare just one person the experience I have had, then it was worth taking the time to do so. Lack of clear communication or project management direction will leave your job a confused and muddled mess. They will miss appointments by calling two hours before they are supposed to arrive, or in the case of their sheet rock guy, no call no show. There is no single point of contact for your project, which leaves you talking to someone new every time you have a concern or issue. They don't answer emails or text messages with any regularity and contradict themselves at your expense when they do. I feel bad for the installers who do decent work when they are able to get on site, but there is a clear failure of management to coordinate and communicate, which will leave you wishing you looked elsewhere, but hey, maybe I just lucked out and your experience will be great.

Window installation of 5 impact windows still not complete, started on October 2022. Neighborhood Windows did not flash the opening of any of the windows prior to installation which is an important first step to prevent moisture intrusion!! Neighborhood Windows did not inspect any sheathing directly around the windows for previous moisture damage (such as to plywood) after insuring me they would do that inspection. After much complaining, Neighborhood Windows eventually agreed to remove all 5 windows and flash them. Again I had to advise them it was Florida Building Code. I am still arguing with them about the taping and caulking over the installed windows as the final inspection has failed at least three times. This has been a complete nightmare.

We ordered our hurricane windows on August 8, 2021. They were supposed to be installed in November 2021. Then they were supposed to be installed in January 2022. Then the windows were delivered in April 2022 and half of them were the wrong size. We are in the process of selling our home. The windows must be installed before September 30, 2022 or we will be seeking legal counsel. In addition, should we continue with your company, I am expecting a significant reduction in price due to the unrealistic delays, poor communication on your part and your inability to complete the contract within a reasonable timeframe.

I have paid and waiting on 3 windows since October 2021, everytime I call they have no answers for me, I keep asking for the owner and he's never there. I am given dates for installations and it never happens. Ashley will say to me she'll have the owner call me and he never does because he never gets the message. They are telling me to call the supplier. Is she crazy. I AM VERY STRESSED. THEY ARE THE WORST.

This company has good communication at this time , now has updates about the delivery the Windows and insulation.

I went with Neighborhood and windows, after receiving three other quotes. Doug the salesperson was professional and honest, some times you have to just go with your instinct. Jack and Drake the two installers were knowledgeable, professional and very meticulous in their install. They picked up all the scraps there was nothing left behind after they left. We are very pleased with the windows and believe we made the right choice.RGC

Terrible experience. Installers were quick but messy and sloppy. Empty containers of caulk were left in the yard and they drilled into the sills of the windows and sliding glass door. The sliding glass door damage was significant while the damage on most of the window sills is not. Front office staff would ignore my emails (for weeks) on multiple occasions and I was promised a discount on my final bill which they did not honor.
