Repair a Garage Door Spring

I was about to go grocery shopping this afternoon when I went to open the garage and found it wouldn't open due to the spring being busted. I called around and settled on hiring â Neighborly Garage Door Repair, due to their quick response, free estimate and fair price. Dani, the owner, answered the phone himself and walked me thorough what needed to be done. He was able to come to my rescue this same day which was not only a weekend (Saturday), but also within a couple of hours! He showed up with everything needed for the repair, was so professional and worked very cleanly. There were no hidden surprises or charges, in fact after installing the new springs, he adjusted my opener so it now runs more smoothly and quietly at no extra cost. What a pleasure to do business with this man and company! I would definitely use them again and whole heartedly recommend them to my friends and family.

Dani is amazing, Neighborly Garage Doors is amazing, I couldn't possibly recommend any other business in the area over Neighborly . Dani is extremely nice, patient, fast, and fair. He took care of replacing our old garage door with a new one and got it done at a great price with a super fast turnaround time. The install looked great but when there was one small issue (rubber liner was a little off in one spot) Dani instantly offered to fix it. He even showed up ON A SUNDAY no less to fix the issue himself at no additional cost and with total patience and professionalism. I wish everything was as easy as working with Dani and Neighborly and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a new garage door.

Repair a Garage Door Spring

Don't look any further, Neighborly garage door is the company to use when you need to fix your garage door. Got a quote quickly which was hundreds cheaper than the other companies I contacted. They came out quickly and fixed our broken spring in under 30 minutes. 3 year warranty on the springs. Paid exactly what was quoted, no trying to upsell me on anything. Awesome experience. Will recommend them to anyone I know, and will continue to use them if we ever have any issues again!

Had wiring issues with our garage door opener. Dani responded on the app within 10 minutes and was at our home within 2 hours. Fixed our issue very quickly and at a very reasonable rate, and he taught me things about the opener, too. Would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Dani!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
