BUYER BEWARE!!! Past experience plus 5 Year update on driveway and patio install: Overall ?? Very poor communication ?? This contractor is "TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN" ?? Sometimes, the crew did not show up on scheduled days with no communication stating such DRIVEWAY ?? Cracks and cracking PATIO ?? Paid for 6" concrete, but recently found out only 2 to 3 inches were poured ??Concrete was poured with slope toward, not away from, the house ?? Fix for above was to cut out a portion of the patio. I asked for a refund for cut piece since it contractor's error. "No way you're getting any reduction in price," says Nelson ?? Patio is now level with ponding water and algae ?? Worker asked me for $20 for diesel fuel, since his machine's gauge showed "empty" ?? Nelson asked me to pick up (unpaid for) materials at Home Depot

BEWARE OF THIS LOUSY CONTRACTOR !!! I hired Nelson to do a patio, driveway & walkway, along with some leveling of my back yard. This is the dirtiest & most careless & inconsiderate company that Iâ ve ever seen! They threw their garbage all over my property. The ground they cleared of weeds & old growth, they buried rather than hauling it off Which will no doubt cause sink holes as it deteriates. They splattered concrete all over the sides of my house & left all their concrete waste to harden in my yard. My driveway has a huge slope in it not matching the other side. Rather than digging it out to be slightly above the ground, I have a 1 1/2 foot drop on the side that someone getting out of their car could fall off the driveway breaking a leg. They built a rock wall on the back of my patio taking rock out of my existing garden, disassembling an existing water fall I had built without asking. I had to pay to get someone to rebuild it. I had to be outside nearly the entire time watching to make sure they did things & in the correct way. He brought his young kids with him while he drove that backhoe of his way too fast with his kids running all over & he was only 10 feet from my house. Theyâ d show up at noon & think nothing of it working past dark (10:00 or later) using a very small headlight . they broke three very large fake rocks that I paid over $650 for. Nelson said they mustâ ve been very old or the sun caused it. When leaving, unbeknownst to me, they put all their food scraps in a yard waste bin that I had placed behind the garage out of their way. When I went to use it after they left, I found it full of maggots & flies, enough to make you throw up. These guys are absolute pigs & I recommend you never hire them !

Hired them do my pickleball court 55x26 prep and pour one day all good and fast and all compact and rebar and clean up

The contractor has no professional conduct at all.

After they were paid, they have not responded. For any type of warranty work you need done, do not count on them doing it.

They not play around when they on site they work look good and passed the inspection the mono pour footing and the pour together with the driveway look good and all clean up

Nelson and the crew really good price is good work with my budget and he intime this job was only 2 day and they have there own equipment and own cement truck they are really good finishing too I will hire them again

They did not finish the job. They left some of the plywood forms in place. I have called and texted them at least 5 times to please come and take the forms down and haul away a few pieces of debris that they left on site. They say they will be out the next day, but they don't show up. They did this twice, not show up. I would not hire them again. I spoke to Nelson, the owner each time.

I hired Nelson last week to extend my patio and him and his crew were able to start the work immediately. They completed the extension of my patio as well as my next door neighbor’s driveway in one day. The job was done perfectly and the clean up afterwards was perfect!

This is one of the worst contractors I have ever worked with in over 40 years of home projects. This was a large 29 cy project that included a new driveway, sidewalk, covered patio, and new stamped concrete sitting area. The contractor had a punch list of items to fix and said they would return to correct them. Unfortunately, we had made the final payment and have no financial hold on the contractor. It has been 18 weeks since the project was poured. Items left uncorrected include; black footprints and color overspray on newly poured concrete, a large crack in the main pathway that developed 12 days after the pour, incorrectly sloped patio causing water pooling in the middle of the patio. Also, the broom finish was poorly done and many joint seams not smoothly finished. All punch list items were documented with photos and communicated to the contractor via text. They also took our shovel and a 2 ½ gallon gas can! Despite repeated text and phone calls, the contractor has abandoned his customer. I would recommend Home advisor take this contractor off their website.

It was hard to get a response from Nelson some of the time, and some of the benderboards and wood forms were left for about two weeks after the work was completed, as was some of the debris. Otherwise, the crew worked quickly, and really did a great job with the whole process.

At the end of the job, he asked for more money.

They have no respect to women. They have no professionalism.

Fair price!

They started out great but have never finished the job. I am not sure when they will. 3 months later and the job is still not finished. Nelson makes appointments but never shows, no phone call or text. Quality is also poor. I would not use them again.

We hired Neslon Feb 27th to do 3 patios with steps in Roman slate with a different a colored border .We put a third of the payment down $3,500. He was due to come back March 4th so we can pick out colors and style and go over details -he never showed . Two of his crew showed that day to put up what they call forms. He ignored calls and text for a week when he finally did reply back he said he had a family emergency, then after that it was he is very sick so there goes another week . They dropped concrete over a weeks span no word from Nelson himself or reply . Someone came out for about 2 hours and put concrete into the large form and used our dirt to top it off. Then 2 weeks goes by this puts us into April we signed a contract in Feb. He replies back finally says April 2nd they will be out to finish forms and setting everything up and we will pour April 6,or 7th . April 2nd 2 guys show up at 330pm spent about a hour shoveling dirt around and then more time on thier phones and left . Tuesday 6th goes by no one shows or calls and here we are April 7th and my fiancé text at 730am let's him no we are not going to move forward as it has been 5 and half weeks and 2 days of worth of work has been done . Nelson replied they were on thier way to come finish forms and setting and plan to pour at 1pm today . How are you going to pour if we never picked the colors out ? The forms had been sitting and bending for 5 weeks Washington weather and all ? We asked for a refund will pay for time spent out here and happy to go over all 4 security cameras and total up the hours of labor with Nelson. His reply was we owed him another$ 2,500 . We put down $3,500 . So two days of work and some concrete/wood is worth $5,000? When people decide to lie about being sick you should remember technology now days . Im sure when we filed our complaint they were annoyed with all of my attachments. Now we are out money because he scammed us and now our wedding gets pushed back again not due to covid this time but due to our lack of judgment and taking a man on his word . DUE REASEARCH PEOPLE. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN . Research and you will see most of his positive comments our connected .

The initial pouring of cement looked really nice. Then everything went downhill from there. They took several days to come back and remove the wooden forms some of which were stuck in the cement. They never cleaned the mess that they created on our newly painted home. There were cracks in the cement that was **patched** with quick concrete only to crack a few days later. The owner, Nelson, never came by to check on the final job, avoided answering calls. Highly suggest **Do Not Hire**.

Decent company. I would have rated them higher but there was a specific requirement that wasnâ t met and we were left to address and the clean up wasnâ t the best. Lots of overflow left and weâ ve spent hours breaking up concrete that spilled over framed area
