New Day Tree Service

We hired Christian T in 2020 to construct a trash can enclosure. The work was done satisfactorily. Fast forward to 2021 and I reached out again to have him and extend the enclosure by ~20 feet, and to power wash and re-stain our entire privacy fence. Later, we expanded the scope of the project to include simple 2 panel aluminum fence to keep the dogs off of my husbands putting green. Easy, Peasy right? NOPE- long story short I would NOT recommend him for any fence work. The shoddiness of his work, lack of follow-through, delays, no-shows has left us with damage to our neighbors gate which was attached and an unfinished product (i.e. bent, misaligned pickets, exposed nails, stain on my homes brick. In short we will have to hire someone else to fix what we paid him to construct. We gave him MULTIPLE chances to get this right. We even paid him an extra $150 to put towards labor costs since it was clear he was in over his head. We have had our own small business in the past and know very well the power of reviews: both good and bad. I debated leaving this but after much thought I refuse to co-sign what is ultimately a theft of service and feel it is just right to let people know what the real deal is when dealing with this person. My neighbors were going to hire him to do additional work and have since canceled the work to look elsewhere- not based on what we said but based on his inability to show up and do the work they requested. for us, this was a terrible experience since towards the end he seemed incapable/unwilling to complete what he committed/paid to do. He seems to believe that because he is on the lower end of the $ scale that it gives him license to half of his way through the work. For the record, we did not hire him because he was the cheapest, we hired him because we thought we could trust him to do a good job. We were mistaken. Buyer Beware!

Two men with equipment did a major trim of limbs extending over my house (insurance necessity). They worked steadily and efficiently, were most polite and accommodating and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming. It took them only a little over an hour and was a LOT of work; they cleaned up everything beautifully, also.

The guys worked very efficiently and cleaned up before they left. They showed up over an hour after they initially said they would but I didn t mind too much since I knew they could get started even if I wasn t home when they first got there. The price was less than the company we had trim our trees last year and they did a great job! Will hire again next year.

Were a bit slow on the scheduling, however that could be attributed to bad weather. otherwise service was great, performed the jobs as described and they were professional.

I hired Chris (Now known as NEW DAY TREE SERVICES) to clear a rocky hillside of scores of Cedar, being careful to save several Red Oaks, and to mulch the debris onsite. He and his crew did an outstanding job, when promised, at a cost less than his estimate, leaving the site neat and orderly. I DEFINITELY will be hiring him again.

I needed bushes trimmed and a tree branch removed, so I searched on HomeAdvisor. Not even five minutes after I put in my needs to HomeAdvisor, I received a call from Christian. We talked about what I needed done and he was here the next day. He was early and finished quick cleaned the trimmings. I am very pleased with the results and fast service.

I called a lot of companies before using home advisor. These guys were the only company that made themselves available to come out immediately and handle the tree that fell in my yard. They cleaned up, explained everything and even before quoting a price made sure we would be happy. All other companies I called could not be hurried and didn’t care about my emergency.

Christian was very professional. He got the job done quickly and cleaned up after himself. We were extremely satisfied and would recommend him to anyone!

They guys are really nice.

He claims that he is an arborist. He was not. He had worked with arborists. He knows how to trim trees. He takes short cuts. I tried to get him to return to finish the project. I paid up front. He did finally apologize and return to remove a limb. He takes risks by doing the work by himself and by not treating the Oak tree cuts.

He did a great job for us. We would use him again.

By far the most reasonably priced. Good communication. Available on short notice. Honest.
