Pete from the Glass Store was swamped and wasn't able to get to my glass window repair in a timely manner. However he had his friends at Pennington's Glass do the work for him. Les from Pennington's came out to do the measurements and order the replacement glass. A week later the glass came in and Mike from Pennington's did the prep, install and clean up in about an hour. Thanks to Pete at the Glass Store and Les and Mike at Pennington's Glass for a job well done. I highly recommend them.

I off and on tried for 6 years to find someone who would replace a shattered glass window in a French door, until Pete came out to give a free estimate. He carefully assessed how the window was set into the door and whether it could be removed without ruining the door or the frame. He showed me how he would fix it, then used his phone to create the estimate and how I could go online to retrieve it. I was so impressed with both his manual skills and his use of technology that I accepted his offer on the spot. Pete took his measurements, ordered the glass, and delivered and installed in a little more than a week. He used his best skills to not only assess the feasibility of the project but he educated me to his thinking. If he had failed I would have had to replace both doors in a French-door set, which would have been 10x the cost of the repair.

Awesome doors, installation, and customer service! Quite pricey, though. However, we are very pleased with the project.
