Ron, the owner, was very nice to me until I signed a contract, at which point he became nasty and did not answer my calls or messages. He uses sub-contractors to do the work, and the ones used at my home, did awful work.

"We are sorry Gerardo V. felt it necessary to rate us with 1/2 star. We have only received 3 reviews out of 81 with less the 4 stars. We have contacted this customer numerous times trying to explain that our work was completed in 2013 and he has altered the the job since then with other work he has done and now 6 years later wants us to repair the alteration he has made. He continues to use inappropriate language when we have tried to explain his warranty coverage which was in effect for a period of two years after completion of our work."

We received multiple quotes for our new roof and the quote from New England Custom Design was very competitive. They arrived on time, completed the entire job in one day and cleaned up our yard and removed the dumpster within 24 hours of the job completion. The final price was exactly what was quoted and the customer service was excellent! I would highly recommend this company!

Reliable and friendly. They finished the work in the timeframe they promised and the results are wonderful. They were also very responsible in keeping us in the loop about changes that needed to be made to the original estimate based on what they found when they took off the shingles. Very professional work and I would recommend them without reservation.

Service was great, very professional. Job started later than expected, somewhat due to weather. All done in one day. Fairly clean when done, a few nails around, then more washed out of the gutters. Overall very pleased especially with the cost!

They were very efficient and professional, even doing some minor carpentry to install flashing along the dormers. The roof was installed in Sep 09. It is not Feb 11 and with all of the snow, the ice dams are becoming a problem. I've been trying to be diligent about using the roof rake to get snow off as it comes, but nevertheless dams build up. This is more of an insulation/ventilation issue - I need to not heat the roof - because if it stayed cold in the winter, there would be no ice dams. Now looking into insulation contractors....

Installed the roof OK (although afterward we had a small leak that eventually went away). But, they left a mess (mostly nails all over our yard) and damaged a window screen.

"Stripping a roof when the ground is covered with snow presents a problem when we can't use rakes or magnets to thoroughly clean the work area. This is explaned to all customers with provisions that we will return in spring if debris are found. Any property that is damaged it replaced, that's why we have insurance, not that torn screen would require a claim, and leaks do not just go away. This customer never called us or answered our customer statisfaction survey's. This rating was just posted however we completed the work 3 yrs ago? If there was anything wrong we could have and would have taken care of it.. If only this customer called us."

I was pleased with the work performed. The workers showed up on schedule and were very courteous. My only complaint was with the cleanup. There was more debris than I had expected to find around the yard.

They had someone out immediately to check my roof and gave a great quote. The day of the reroofing, I left for work in the morning with no one at my house and when I got home that evening, there was absolutely no sign of they had been there but I had a brand new roof! Extremely professional, easy to work with, great experience overall, I highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants a quick no hassle experience.

I found them to be excellent in helping me to determine the right solution to my roofing need. They pointed me towards what was necessary and away from elements that were unnecessary and more expensive. The technical implementation was top notch, and after cleanup, you would not know they had been there. Highly recommended.
