Received a quote, approved it and job was completed that evening. Very professional and polite. Plan on hiring New Image Renovations for another job in the next week or so. Well pleased with the cost and results.

I am glad others have had a good experience with New Image Renovations, I did not. I hired New Image Renovations to paint the exterior of my house. The owners name is Kevin Magill. My house is a 2 story house with a detached garage. Both wood siding. The process of painting the exterior is simple: scrape, power wash, paint. In the spirit of helping others make a more informed decision about hiring, or not, New Image Renovations, here is a short version of my story: The job was said to be completed in 2 and a half days. It took 4 weeks. The contract was signed on 6/27/19 and job was finished on 7/27/19. The Good: - Workers worked their butts off. - One of the workers worked one weekend, not sure if Kevin requested him to come work or if he decided to come work on his own. I asked Kevin about it and he was not able to give me a straight answer. - The final day all small fixes were done very promptly. The Bad: - Scraping is incredibly time-consuming. The first week, only one worker came to start the scraping phase. He barely had a single side and lower part of the house scraped. - As days went by, the workers started coming to work later than the day before: 9am, then 9:30, then 10:30, then noon. - Promises and promises, left and right, that the job was going to be done "today, tomorrow the latest". And then, more promises. I stopped looking at Kevin in the face. - Kevin asked if it was Ok to come to work the weekend (4th of July weekend) and I said yes. No one came, which is fine, it's the weekend, but not after he asked if it was Ok to come and never called to say he was not coming at all. - I had a heart to heart talk with him about all the delays, all the broken promises. I told him: I have been in your shoes where I am giving the client a service, and I hate clients that are difficult to work with, talk to, are rude, can not negotiate anything with. I am not that kind of client. All you need to do is communicate with me, you can text me, email me or call me. Next day I received an email from Kevin telling me that they were running late on another job and that they were going to come the next day to get this thing caught up so no workers came that day. NOR the following day either. Two whole days of work lost. - We left for vacation for 3 days. My wife believed they were going to be done by the time we were back. They were not. Not even close. And this was 3 weeks after they already had started the job. Remember, the estimate was 2 and a half days to finish the job. - They had not started working on the garage after 3 weeks into the job. - The quality of the job was Ok. It was not Wow! or great. It does not look professional, it looks done and new, but not something you see and would say That was done by a professional company. - At first, Kevin was very responsive via email. But towards the end when things were already sour, he stopped replying to my emails altogether. My mistake: - I gave Kevin too much confidence by trying to be friendly, he abused my trust. - When I gave the contract another look, I realized there was no protection for me in case things did not work out, everything in it was protecting him. Lesson for the future: Make sure the contract has clauses that protect me as a client, like a time frame specified, what happens if the job is not finished by the time frame, what happens if you decide to end the contract and fire them, paint and workmanship warranty, insurance for his workers and myself. All in all, this entire experience was VERY stressful and unpleasant. I will not be hiring them again. Good luck to you if you hire them.

Kevin was quick, knew how to fix the problem, fixed another problem he found for no additional charge. Good work. No leaks so far.

Do not hire this company. He has told me for two weeks he would finish the porch and he hasnt. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau. I will never use Home Advisor again and will make sure to let people know not to trust doing business with this company. If you can help get my porch finished I would greatly appreciate anything you can do for me.

Was not happy with the performance, very shoddy work and have to have another contractor re-do everything that he did.

I had the chance to work with the owner of New Image Renovations, Kevin Magill, He s extremely knowledgeable, works his butt off, and has a very outgoing personality! Already planning another project or two in the future! So absolutely yes, I d recommend him and the company!

New image renovations was an excellent experience he answered all my questions regarding the area he worked on and I was very satisfied 100%

I called Home Advisor about having my roof repaired where the previous company had FAILED to flash around one of my chimneys. By the next day, I rec'd a promised visit and the New Image guy bid the job and said he could do the job that day. I had to be away for the afternoon, and by the time I returned, New Image had returned with aluminum ready for installation. The men took time to patch some rough places in the flat roof areas, sealed the chimney, and flashed around it. He was professional and tidy and the job was done the same day.

He is very professional. He answers all your questions and does beautiful work. He will explain what he is doing every step of the way.
