I think but not sure I had bed bugs and took care of them myself before Jay arrived but it was not clear – my poor girlfriend suffered from what looked like bed bug bites (which as I have been told by multiple people are not a 100% indicator). Jay did the most thorough inspection of the 3 services I had come in with no close second. He does charge, BUT IMHO you get what you pay for. If there were bed bugs I believe they were confined to our bedroom as they were caught early. Jay did a very thorough inspection of the rest of the house and found nothing. He did not push us to use his services as he felt most likely they were not necessary. After a few days delay I decided to do the two bedrooms that have been used (not all bed bug services will treat 1 or 2 rooms) as I wasn’t sure if there were bed bugs there or something else was getting to my girlfriend. Jay said if there were other bugs the heat treatment would kill them also. He arrived on time, communicated during the day, and finished as scheduled. It has been several weeks now, my girlfriend is happy – no bites, I had a few bites before and none now. Interestingly enough after the heat treatment the two rooms smell fresh and clean. Initially I was a bit concerned as Jay is very small. But my experience was being small means much less overhead (hence about 1/3 less than the franchise bb killers) and he personally answered the phone either immediately or within 10-15 minutes depending upon his work flow. I checked and he does have the required NJ 7A license. In the unfortunate event I would need bb killer services again, I will use Jay again without reservation.

I live in a house down by the beach and during the summer I have numerous people stay over. I was terrified to find bed bugs in my house as most people would be. This scary situation turned out to be not frightening with New Jersey Bed Bug Killers. Trying to fix this ordeal would traditionally be filled with pesticides, multiple treatments, and break my bank. The treatment was done in one day using heat treatment. and was very cost effective. I felt comfortable letting my pets back in to the house knowing that no pesticides were used. Jay answered all of my questions and talked me through the whole procedure. There is no other pest control service like this out there! I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

He is very thorough and has a great reputation. He knows what he's doing. He knows the equipment.

My bedbug problem was handled exceptionally well. They were able to handle the issue without the need for harsh chemicals and i didn't have to worry about poisoning my pet. Overall a great company

NJBBK's heat treatment worked better than any other method of pest control. It was super clean, NO chemicals involved, and I was able to be back in my place very shortly afterwards. Also, the owner, Jay, is a great guy! He was really down to earth and informative. He went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable with the treatment and that I was happy with the results- which I was... No more bugs! :)
