New Leaf Painting Company

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Chris, have no regrets, and would hire him again. He painted above freshly installed carpet and the carpet came out pristine. My only problem was with his estimate. Maybe this is normal and I'm just naive, but his materials came in double what he estimated, and his time came in 50% higher than what he estimated. And to keep time from ballooning even further, there were shortcuts that he had to take (with my blessing) that were not what I expected originally. I didn't quite pay double what the estimate was, but to get the quality that I was originally expecting, I would have had to pay double. (Part of the problem here was that the original estimate was not explicitly a "time and materials" estimate; once that got clarified, the day before the project began, I knew we were in for a bigger bill than anticipated. Now I know what to ask my next contractors!) That said, I still rate him highly because I find the product worth the money, and I would hire him again (just with more questions asked). I just wish the estimate was more accurate.

I had four quotes from local exterior painters and Chris came in with a quote in the middle . I was tempted to go with the cheapest option, but had the best "gut feeling" about Chris. I was very concerned with going over budget because I only set aside so much money for the job. Chris answered all my questions, was easy to communicate with, was on the job every day the weather allowed during the time frame we talked about, stayed in budget, and was, overall, just really great to work with. The quality of the job was amazing - he had old wood and bad prior paint job to contend with and still made the house shine. He even went above and beyond to recommend paint colors, pick up paint samples, remain patient as I changed my mind about the color scheme, and apply extra coats to trouble areas. The job site was clean every night and looked great when the job was done too! I would definitely recommend Chris and would hire him again in a heartbeat for my next paint job.

Came in with the best quote, offered samples of his work, was sensitive to our schedule and that of our tenant, offered good advice on color, and consulted throughout the prepping and painting work. Being landlords from afar ment having Chris completely manage our project from start to finish his constant communication made it all easy. The quality of his work has the neighbors scheduling their house too. Highly recommended.

We hired Chris to paint the living area of my mother's apartment. He was prompt, personable, and did a fabulous job. I would not hesitate to give him the highest recommendation and will definitely turn to him again for our future painting needs.

Chris has been a pleasure to work with. He has a good eye for color, and his standard of workmanship is excellent. He and his employee Michael both work neatly and clean up afterwards. He has been very patient in answering my questions and open to discussion about everything involved in the project.

I can't say enough about New Leaf Painting. One, they were extremely professional, and I never worried about them being at my house while I was away or when my kids were home. The workmanship was of course top notch, and we have a very difficult house with lots of trim! Chris was a wonderful help throughout all stages of our project, especially with helping choose colors. I would definitely hire them again!

These guys did an amazing job. Better than I could have imagined. They were courteous and professional and got the job done in a short time. Everybody compliments me when they see the amazing job New Leaf did. I highly recommend them!
