New Surroundings

Ken was fantastic every step of the way throughout the process of replacing all the single-pane windows in our home with new, efficient windows. This included dealing with adjustments because of our strange, asymmetrical style of old windows. He was knowledgeable and professional throughout the process, and even helped with a few other small projects. We would love to have him work on whatever comes up next, and have heard he does fantastic kitchen remodels!

He did great work cleanly, quickly, and for a reasonable price. If only he also put up gutters! We didn't get everything finished. We just ran out of time, so a piece of the project has been left for next summer.

I ordered the cabinets and appliances through a company other than one that New Surroundings normally works with. There were delays and some issues with the ordered items. New Surroundings patiently waited for the deliveries and worked to get everything installed as requested. Ken was exceptionally nice to work with and was always available for any of the deliveries and installations that were made by the appliance company and the counter people. Very trustworthy and knowledgeable. The People that he recommended for the specialty work were all quite accommodating also. The project became much more involved than originally expected due to plumbing and electrical issues but all ended as desired. excellent job.

I had my basement completely remodel new office, family, bathroom, and laundry area. Ken was the general contractor and help the design work. He was responsible for all the work. He personally did a ton of work including pulled the permits, framing and walls. Electrical, plumbing, tile and carpet were sub-contracted. I show this off to my neighbors and everyone thinks it looks great. I love it. Ken is great. The workmanship is 1st class, and his flexibility terrific and all in a professional and efficient manner.
