We hired them to remove cedar shakes (some were painted and replace them with new red cedar shakes. David was quick to give us an estimate and sent a crew to to the work right away. Great job! I would certainly recommend them!

David is a true professional very easy to work with because he truly loves what he is doing. He went out of his way to find the parts needed to complete the job saved me doing the leg work. Someone else told us there was no way to duplicate what we had and David found a way to our delight! We will be using NYRC in the future and would recommend them to anyone...

Phenomenal experience - these guys are extremely detail oriented, very responsive, value oriented (one of the lowest bids we got, and we did a pretty exhaustive bidding process), and most importantly, very easy to work with, really nice people.

I hired NYRC to replace my siding with Hardie fiber cement siding, and to replace my windows with Andersen windows. They did a great job, and I would highly recommend them. David was a pleasure to work with, went through all of my options with me, and offered me a fair price. Izzy and his crew were top notch with meticulous attention to detail. The outside of my house looks like it is brand new.

Project was to remove and replace siding with Hardie fiber cement product. David through email was consistent with communication all through the project. Guys worked hard and with great care during installation procession. Overall project came out great and would recommend NYRC.

His lead guy Izzy is very professional, and a great installer. Work is very clean and neat. Will definitely recommend NYRC to others.

Wood or Fiber Cement Siding Installation or Complete Replacement
David and his staff managed a complete overhaul of the exterior of my home. The roof and old ceder siding were removed to the plywood. In a few areas we had rotten wood underneath that needed to be replaced. David and his team installed new plywood, a new roof, insulation, and new James Hardie fiber cement shingles. This job involved a good amount of work and fine detail and we are more than satisfied with the end result. David and his staff communicated to us throughout the project and worked to get the job done. They start your job and stay onsite until the job is complete. I have seen houses in my neighborhood start projects weeks before our project began and they are still working now, months after beginning. I would recommend using NYRC for any roofing or siding project.

The work that was done was good but the owner, David, made promises he could not keep. As a result alternative materials had to be used which I did not want. Also he promised to show up on more than one occasion and he did not. Damage was done to my driveway from the container, a cable repairman had to be called because of the damage done by the installers and an air conditioner repairman had to be called because the installer put a tarp over it during the removal of the old shingles and it shut down and had to be reset by a technician. Also a rain sensor which wirelessly controlled the underground sprinklers was removed and thrown away even though it was shown to David before the job started and instructed that it must be reinstalled for the system to function properly. There were other more minor issues too. All of these expenses, I was told are my responsibility but you should be aware of the ancillary costs involved with the job due to damages done. Finally,because I did not pay the final installment until the following business day after completion, (I kept getting conflicting stories on when the job would be completed) the owner, David got quite nasty. He basically flipped out and acted in a manner that could not allow me to recommend his company.

"This Customer: Stewart of New Rochelle has a vendetta against us. I refused to pay for a water sensor device that he claimed was lost or misplaced during the removal of his 50 year old siding despite he signed a contract that clearly stated and we told him verbally: we are not responsible for any of these items. he became angry when I re-sent him details of the contract that he signed.. Here is his e mail copied & pasted: (word for word) David, the house looks great. Izzy and Jorge did a wonderful job. I just want to walk around the house with [Consumer name withheld at their request] to see if her eyes pick up anything that I missed. We will be able to do that on Sunday. And I will be able to give you a check on Monday. Tonight was the rehearsal dinner and tomorrow is the wedding so we can't even think about it till Sunday. Hope that works for you. Well the contract stated the day we are completed: he then took 4 days to pay & he then made us wait until late afternoon.(last minute) like idiots) My crew went over a super detailed punch list a day before completion. A-Z.. He gave us a $250.00 tip based on the great job we did. (Tips are so rare) Since then (once he learned that I am not paying for a water sensor) he became angry. We fulfilled the contract and got rewarded for it. In addition he put a fake request through home advisor: he put a false name, fake telephone number to get the names of contractors as he already used the service previously and was looking for more & more estimates. The joke of it is when someone does this home advisor makes it nearly impossible to get a refund as we pay for each potential customer that we get from them, typically $70.00.. Before hiring NYRC I really did my homework, got a few bids and visited the house of a local homeowner who also used this company. David thoroughly addressed all of my questions and concerns and wasn't a pushy salesman which I found very refreshing! Workers were polite, prompt, hard-working. There were no surprises!

David is one of a dying breed he is honest will give you the best options and will tell you when your wasting your money on something that you really don't need. Fast on time great cleanup and what you are told you will get is what you do get. Price is very good top notch material. Will use him again.
