Run! Run! Run! I wish I had read all these reviews before I hired Eric.I entered into a contract with Eric to build my home. The town took a while to approve the environmental plans and during that time Eric requested that we give him some deposit. He took the deposit and that was end of story. He refused to return our calls and it was story after story. Please avoid this company at all cost.

We hired Eric to take down a load bearing wall in early to mid of 2024. He initially stated we did not need a permit from town before taking the load bearing wall. We hired him for total kitchen remodel (placed new load bearing beams up to engineering specs/current building code labor/discard debris, electrical work, new kitchen cabinet, quartz countertops, island) so Eric asked for a deposit of $7000.00. We paid him in 6/2024.. After that, we had to frequently call him to ask him for updates on cabinet options, quartz options, status of local building permit, etc). We never saw the actual cabinets or quartz slab countertop. He removed original load bearing kitchen wall he placed the new beams with regular pressure treated deck boards instead of LVL . Placed sheet rock before any inspections (elect/struct) We requested a full refund and fired him. Eric S. of NEWC (if that is his name) is dishonest, deceptive, unreliable, and has not returned our $7000.

Terrible Experience - Beware. Eric seemed nice. Did a walkthrough of our property. 12k estimate (taking trees down), clearing waterways, brush hogging, spreading wood chip piles. We paid 1/2 as deposit. He was hired in April of this year. It's now December and 15% done, the rest abandoned. Full job was to take place over 5 days with his 'crew'. Typical patter for us was he'll say he's been there and worked on it and it's clear no one has been there at all. He'll promise to come 'next week' and then no show. When you write to him to ask what happened he'll say something came up with his kids, or his wife - he's used the medical emergency couple of times. Or he'll say, "Tomorrow I'll call you to discuss." and then ghost you. It's happened so many times and most correspondence goes this way. We are incredibly upset. Phase 2 work was partially paid for on deposit, 3,500. He never started it and now refuses to refund. If you hire him, expect that you're giving your money up

This man is a pathological liar and a crook. He will rob you. 100%. He will seem nice but beware of wolf in sheep's clothing. We are suing NEWC PROPERTY MANAGEMENT and Eric, after hiring him in May, 2024 with a year full of empty promises and no shows. Straight out pathological liar.

Very pleased with the project. Everything came out perfect. Everytime any issue came about they took care of it. Originally said would take roughly three months to complete. Ended up taking 2.5. No hidden extra cost at end. Neat, clean and professional. Always kept in touch daily with updates on everything

We hired Eric last year. He initially did what we asked him to do, then he basically abandoned the job and lied about everything he possibly could. He didn't get the proper permits required by the city. We now have a deck that's not up to code and God knows what else. Stay as far away from this guy as you possibly can. He's nothing but a con artist. He was on Angi's list and Thumbtack when we hired him.

- [ ] We contacted Angi in August 2023 to find a contractor who specialized in drainage problems and French drains. N.E.W.C.Property Management was recommended by Angi. We contacted them and made an appointment for an estimate on August 17. Eric, the owner, postponed till the following day claiming he was running late. This happened again on the 18th and was a continuing theme with him. He continually promised to come and never called or showed up. I always had to reach out to him after waiting and waiting, only to hear some excuse. After we had agreed on a price and he had promised that the job would be done that weekend, that never happened and there were more promises, more no-shows and more excuses. We realized that the rain sometimes prohibited him from doing the excavation work, so we were exceptionally patient and understanding but he almost never came when he said he would, and when he did, it was only after numerous text messages from us. When he did bring the excavating machine and tools, despite more promises about when the job would be completed, it took him from August 24 after several more postponements until the end of September when he finally removed the Bobcat after leaving it idle on our property for over a week, causing us worry that it would be stolen. Even more important than all of the delays and excuses was the fact that he never finished the job. There was still a large area that needed a drain, and when he finally put in that drain, it took days more for him to reseed the area, leaving it all muddy. The area remained unfinished and was still flooding, and Eric promised he would be back to fix the problem and do some more grading. That never happened. He also promised that he would send photos and a map of the areas in which he installed the drain pipes , but he never did although he promised to. To this day, the job is still not complete, nor are we sure that it corrected the problem. It was a very frustrating experience, to say the least, since he was paid in full without completing the job as promised.

I think he is vey unprofessional, I cannot get the contractor to come over here to see what the issue is and the deck is not up to code
