Just really unhappy with the quality of service for $5000. Will not refer them. Very unprofessional.

John Newcomb, owner of Newcomb Landscaping, will promise the world and deliver a grain of sand. I paid $2000 for the grating and prepping of my backyard for sod installation. I gave John $1200 as a deposit. After he cashed my check he avoided my phone calls requesting an installation date. His office manager, Tracy, informed him of my many calls - all to no avail. When he finally called he told me he would be there the next day to do the job. When I arrived to see what I had gotten for my $2000, I found dead sod, ungrated soil, mesh wiring and rocks where rugs of sod were tossed, and no workers to be found. I took pictures and called his office yet again. This time I was not so nice. If Mr. Newcomb is reading this, know that I will be seeing you in small claims court. I am a New Yorker. I am not your Midwest yokel!

Good quick job for a fair price.

They did an excellent job installing the brick pavers that they replaced our old lawn timbers with. They also followed my instructions carefully and trimmed our bushes just they way I wanted them. I will definitely call them when it's time to start moving next year.

Good lawn care service

I hired them to mow my grass and they mowed it so bad I have to rent a mower to redo what they did. they mowed it nice but missed spaces in my yard and made my yard look pretty bad. when they done with my yard didn't look like they mowed my mother told me they mowed I wasn't home at the time and didn't let me know ahead of time what day and time they would be coming to mow the grass. I would not recommend this lawn service to anyone. now I don't trust anyone else to mow my grass I am just going to rent a mower and do it myself so I will know my whole yard will be mowed right. I am picky how people mow my grass and I know how I want it mowed and I ask them lower the mower because I could not afford them mow every week but they would not lower there mower so they could cut the grass shorter.
