He is not licensed or bonded but said he would have people here who were. He showed up for the appointment by himself and without the right tools or equipment to do the job. He vacuumed out the bottom of my fireplace and we planned for him to come back the following day to actually complete the inspection of my chimney and fireplace and to do the cleaning. He called 6 minutes before he was due to be here, said he was running late and would be at my home in 1 to 1 1/2 hours after our original appointment time. He didnâ t show within that time period so I called and canceled. He accepted the cancellation but then called back a few minutes later and asked me to pay him *50 or 60 dollars* for having vacuumed out my fireplace the day before. I told him I was paying him nothing since he did not show up the first day with the proper people or equipment to actually do the job and did not show up the second day even after I allowed for a change in the scheduled time. Very unprofessional and unprepared to do the work. If I could have selected zero stars I would have.
