Sylvain installed 6 Doors for me. He worked hard to perfection (Frame were vertically and horizontally challenged) thank you so much and I will hire him again for sure.

Showed up on time and finished the job with out any problems

Contractor identified excellent electrician for initial work. Electrician found a major safety problem in system hidden for 35 years. This necessitated identifying a second electrician familiar with repair to high amperage wiring. Contractor styed on top of the coordinated repair and completed project quickly. In addition, a major structural repair was also completed quickly. Communication and punctuality were superb.

Sylvain did a terrific job hanging a steel door. It was not an easy job and many door installers wouldn't even touch it. He was very professional, on time, and very reasonable. He has multiple skill sets. When hanging a door, one needs to be a problem solver. Lastly, he is just a very nice guy. If needed, I wouldn't hesitate to call Newport Custom again.

The arrival time was miscommunicated so Sylvain was early, but waited around about 30 minutes for me to arrive. He also allowed me to get the necessary parts which saved on the expense and came back five hours later to install everything. Hard to find a good honest plumber but I think I did. Would highly recommend.

3rd time is a charm. The first person I hired to build my shelves was a completely incompetent non-contractor who threatened me with violence. The 2nd guy I hired said he's a 30 year pro. He wasn't, he took my deposit and I never heard from him again. Then I called a real licensed contractor, Sylvain Cadieux of Newport Custom Builders. He's the real deal. A pro's pro. On time. Highly competent. Hard and fast working. I'll never go with non-contractor again. Sylvain does great work and I 100% vouch for him.

He showed up as scheduled, and charged exactly what he quoted, with no hidden fees or additional surprise costs. He also came up with a creative solution for a jacuzzi tub repair that I needed. And he provides a one-year warranty on his services. I definitely plan to hire Newport Custom Builders again, whenever I have another home project to be done.

The best part about having Sylvain work our project is the fact he always let me know the schedule and if he had a opinion on how to do it better, he would always suggest it. I will be recommending Sylvain to all of my friends.

Sylvain did a good job getting everything in my guest bath working and as complete as he could within my tight time deadline (holiday party). He has committed to coming back to finish the detail work to make it perfect. I appreciate his attention to detail. For example, he noticed that installing my bath vanity in the exact same position as the previous one would not allow the drawers to fully open (I hadn't noticed that) so he adjusted all of the measurements a few inches to ensure the vanity mirror and light bar are properly centered with the new vanity position. He also noticed that the custom vanity top I ordered had a crack (I didn't see it) so I was able to get a rush replacement out in time. We had a couple of hiccups in scheduling (mostly because of my last minute request for his services) but in the end, I doubt my guests even noticed what small things need to be completed and I received rave reviews about the fresh new guest bathroom. I will definitely hire this contractor again.

My contractor went out of his way to make sure I was safe and pleased with the job

I needed someone to do a small job on the roof and was having trouble locating someone. This guy didn't have any job that was too small.

Very nice and showed up on time. Worked continually for almost 5 hours to get the job done. Pleased with the work and looks nice. Will recommend to my family who always has need of handyman help. I was a bit nervous going through home advisor but this did work out well. Thank you.
