Frank was the epitome of professional. We had a contract signed in 48 hours. The windows were delivered 3 weeks later as promised. All 10 largr old windows of our condo were replaced in 1.5 days. The work was outstanding. Our housepainter said it was some of the best work he has seen.

Not a good season for roofing due to unusually heavy rain. The work took about five months longer to start and complete than expected. But the final result is very good.

Windows ended up being over a month late. First they were delayed a few weeks. Then supposedly the factory made them the wrong size and they needed to be remade. That wasn't a huge deal to me, and the windows themselves have been good, but the caulking was done very poorly on two of the four windows I had installed. There were large gaps and caulk everywhere around the window. I think the workman was on a tight schedule and halfway through starting rushing. I had to recaulk them myself before I could paint them. This isn't a big job, but something they should've caulked them properly the first time. Also, he left very quickly without giving me a chance to look over the work, and he left a huge mess by two of the windows. He swept the inside, but my front porch was littered with paint chips, old screws, and other debris. It wasn't worth my time to call them to come back out and clean it up, but it was annoyance and something they specifically said they would take care of. They did stick to the estimate and I paid them exactly what they said it would be.

This company repaired a leak in a slate roof with copper valleys. Frank Sullivan and his associate Mark seemed very knowledgable, and were very professional. They offered a solution that was of reasonable quality (rubber) compared to cheaper options (fabric) and more expensive ones (copper) by others, and corrected some other problems while they were at it.

There was just a little confusion as to what was included in the estimate versus what was actually done. Even so, I would have Newton Exteriors do any additional work I might have.

Frank is a very busy man, but once he commits to the job, he will get it done well. DO NOT USE HIS PLUMBER, WILLIE MITCHELL. HIRE YOUR OWN. Expect delays. Sometimes his guys do not show up, especially at the end of the job.

I just wanted to touch base to let you know how pleased I am with the service provided by Mr. Frank Sullivan of Newton Exteriors - a contractor you referred me to. Mr. Sullivan was professional and personable. His estimate was right in line with our budget - and he didn't go over!!!! Again, thanks for the wonderful, expert and trusting service.

Beautiful job installing two solid-oak French doors. Busy contractor, but worth the wait.
