Cool Today performed a coil replacement on my Air Handler on 4/22/25 at a cost of $3,776. A technician who appeared to be young, inexperienced, and non-English speaking attempted to perform the work himself (without supervision). The coil is a heavy metal object situated above a drain pan which collects water and sends it out a pipe to the outside of the house. Unfortunately, the technician placed or dropped the heavy coil unit on our newly surfaced garage floor scraping and gouging it. Worse, when installing the new coil unit he cracked the drain pan resulting in the water filling the metal support unit and eventually overflowing onto the floor of the garage. I immediately shut the AC off and called Cool Today. They could not arrive to fix the defective work for two days. I called another A/C company that had to order the part, take everything apart, replace the cracked pan, and then put everything back together. The company repairing Cool Today's defective work charge me $2,347.

We were in a desperate situation: on the coldest day of the year, with family visiting from Florida - including our baby grandson, our furnace went out. NEXGEN came immediately, provided options, and repaired the furnace before we even had the funds available for payment. That is unheard of in today's world. The installers were very professional, neat, clean and they did not leave any old parts or debris behind. Very excellent work. We would recommend NeXGen to anyone who may ask.

The company was on time, protected work area, cleaned up after the completion of the installation. All staff members had strong customer skills. Did not like to negotiate the price of the unit, would prefer the cost to be based other companies within the area.
