The project was to build a door frame and install a sliding door. The guys definitely have skills. Doing a good job describing how nicely everything will be done, and how they are committed to keep you happy. When it came to actually doing the job, there was one obstacle after another. For example, showing up five hours after proposed (by them) start time, taking frequent smoke breaks or pretending to totally misunderstand the initial project. One day project turned into the four days and the budget inflated by about 40% due to the ?unforeseen? additional labor and materials. After all this, the completed work had enough annoying defects. While the interion side of the door was installed pretty neat, the exterior side have some gaps between the trim and a wall and was not sealed at all. I asked them to come back and fix the flaws, but with no response.
