What a great experience. JJ Molock helped me get an estimate quickly and communicated well throughout the process. He showed up at the start of the job to introduce me to the painters and make sure that any final questions were answered. The painters did a great job in my home and were courteous and honest. I felt like I could leave to run errands while they were working through the process, which was not something I expected. I was so happy that I used them again to redo a room which I wasn't happy with color wise. They are professional, reasonable, and easy to work with.

CONS -- I made a very specific request, which they proceeded NOT to follow. It is a quirk of mine. However, it was the only specific request that I made, and I made it directly to all 3 workers, so it wasn't like it got lost through word of mouth. They said they would mind it, then did exactly what I asked them not to do. I reminded them again. It happened again. One guy smirked like a smartass the whole time. I am still locating certain things that I thought had been thrown away at first, and there are certain things I can't throw in the wash, like a sheepskin rug that they put in the dirty bathroom on top of an even dirtier surface (ew). They also used my previously-clean step ladder, which I used indoors and wouldn't even wear shoes to step on to reach things. There is smudged drywall dust/paint that won't come off, so it looks filthy no matter how much I clean it. They also broke one of my photo frames. PROS - My ceiling, however, looks good, and they were certainly prompt and worked fast. I would say that their cost to remove popcorn, smooth things out, and redo texture and paint are in the middle to high range after all discounts applied. It's not that I would never hire them again, but their failure to honor my specific request, regardless of how small or petty or weird, sort of left a bad taste in my mouth, so I would have to work up to it and be willing to accept that they aren't going to be as careful with my personal property as I am.

Ken and his crew were great. Punctual, very fair priced and did an excellent job. They did not ask for payment until I was completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend these guys.

I had an entire house repainted (walls, ceiling, trim, doors, etc). Next Door was a very professional company with a high quality end product. Was very pleased with JJ Molock and his crew. They were always on time and kept me in the loop during the entire process. Would recommend to others in the area and will be using them again for future projects!

Fantastic to work with. Great price, and they did great work. Justin Treaster managed the project and followed up well, was there when he said hed be there, and charged what he said he would charge. There is only 2 reasons I gave 4.5 instead of 5; one, people tend to brush off all-5 ratings and 2, one of the ceiling fans on my porch is no longer working after they took it down and reinstalled it. But even that is the point, right? They didnt mask off my fan and paint around it, they removed it completely so they could paint evenly across the ceiling of my porch. Would definitely (and will, I have an interior paint job coming up in the next year or so) use again.

The good: The team was quick to respond and schedule us in a timely manner. The quality of the painting was good. There was some extensive corrective work they did on the paint job in the garage; however, it too began peeling within a month. Thankfully this was covered under warranty work and they came out and fixed it again. The negative: there was a two man work crew that painted our entire house. Because of the small crew it took nearly a full week to paint the house. They also showed up on both weekend days to work when it was originally planned for one. I also got double charged for some optional work, but this is just as much on me for not catching it on the initial billing.

I had the pleasure to work with Justin (project leader) and Humberto (paint crew leader) on a project to paint the inside of my home and I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and the quality of their work. They were on time for every appointment, very straight forward about the process and very knowledgeable about their craft. The job was estimated to take 3-4 days, Humberto and his crew were able to finish in 2 days and the house looks amazing! I wish I would have had it done 10 years ago. At the end of the job all the furniture was put back to its original position and the house was left very clean. I highly recommend the folks at Next Door Painting!

Erik, the project leader, did a great job of understanding what we wanted in a finished product, what color scheme we wanted, and the time frame in which we wanted the house painted. He kept in touch with us before the project, showed up with his crew on time, and came at the end to do a quality check and ensure the painters touched up any area needing touching up. The outcome was fantastic, and the price was extremely competitive. I will use Erik's team at New Door Painting again.

We are very pleased with the job done on our home. From the start Erik was very informative and very professional. He kept us informed about when the crew would be here, and how the day would go. I hired Scott to paint for us and we gave them a down payment of $2000, Scott said that we was going to start on 03/18/19 and did not show, then they said they would be here today and did not show again and they never called us, now I can not get a hold of them
