From helping us through selecting the right storm doors for our needs through Casey's excellent installation our experience was first rate. We've used Next for multiple projects from replacing all of the windows in our house to entry doors and storm doors. The quality of service, attention to detail and follow up are the reasons we keep coming back and recommend them to others.

We had a front door replaced by Next Door & Window and couldn't be happier. We most recently returned to have 7 windows replaced in the front of the house. The team is professional, courteous and time sensitive. They kept us apprised of our project timeline and addressed the small and very normal issues that arose as we went through our project. We will look forward to working with Next Door & Window when we turn to updating the back of our house.

It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. The sales rep explained the whole process and made very helpful suggestions. We were given regular updates and notified when they were ready for installation. The installers were fantastic. Very respectful of the property and left the area very clean. The new windows and storm doors are wonderful and I appreciate the great service from Next Door & Window.

They did great

I purchased 14 windows from NEXT Door and Windows in October 2022, and they were installed on 6/30/23. Several problems make me want to never use this company again: 1. Two large windows (double hung) in my dining room were measured incorrectly (despite two separate measurements being performed), and these were not replaced on the original installation day. These needed to be re-ordered, and then a second installation date (9/2/23) was required 8 weeks later. 2. The bathroom window was supposed to be a new opaque window. The sales person mentioned that the new window would only allow a form to be seen, but that details would not be visible. However, after the bathroom window was installed, I noticed that details could be clearly seen from the outside. This window (now very transparent) makes the bathroom not usable unless I have the window covered completely. This was unacceptable for a new window that was supposed to provide privacy. The service team needed to return on 7/29/23 to perform work on this window to make it more opaque. 3. During the installation day, the installation team was asking me if I wanted the frames to be “picture frame” or if I wanted to keep the original style of the frame of the windows. In addition, the installation team wanted to know whether the outside color of the windows should be white or beige. This was concerning because I went over this in great detail with the sales team. This lack of communication worried me about the quality of the communication of NEXT’s teams. 4. Blinds were supposed to be re-installed after the windows were installed (according to my contract). However, there was a change in the dimensions of several windows: a picture window bookended by two double hung windows were changed to a picture window bookended by two casement windows. Since the dimensions of these windows have changed, I can no longer use the old blinds—I will need to order new blinds to fit these windows. This was not discussed during the sale of the windows. In addition, the old blinds were not installed. The sales manager mentioned that I was charged for this re-installation (since it was in my contract); however, no attempt was made to credit me after I brought this up several times. 5. On 7/1/23 the service manager came to inspect the problems with the windows, and he discovered that one double hung window that was installed was very difficult to open. This required a separate visit from the service team (7/29/23) to perform work on the window so that it could open smoothly. Despite these problems, it took multiple phone calls and sending pictures to the leadership of NEXT Door and Windows to convince them that there were problems. The transparent bathroom window concerns were initially dismissed since “everyone orders that window for the bathroom.” It took a photo before they agreed that there was a problem. Marvin windows are great; however, the hassle and frustrations of working with NEXT make me want to never use this company again. My window installation required 4 visits (6/30, 7/1, 7/29, and 9/2) to have windows installed that were working correctly. Despite this hassle, NEXT offered 2% discount on windows, and seemed to value their own profits over customer experience. I recommend going to [*** Link removed ***] and finding a local company with more skill in communication, installation, and professionalism. It would be worth this effort to avoid the hassle and frustration that come with an installation from NEXT.

Replaced all my windows and 3 doors. The installers were absolutely fantastic! Very professional, hard working and kept great communication throughout the installation. Cleaned up everything, nothing was left behind. Windows and doors are absolutely lovely! Very happy I choose Next Door Window & Door for this major renovation!

Next Door and Window easily exceeded my expectations. We had a front door and sidelight replacement and a Bay window replacement. The removal was done with great care and the new installation was seamless. Both the window and door crew's were neat, speedy and obviously experienced. I would highly recommend them.

The ordering and installation processes were great! The salesman visited our house and helped us select stain for the new windows that matched our existing trim. The windows and replacement trim were stained prior to installation. The salesman, measuring expert, and installation crew were friendly, on time, and very professional. The installation involved no surprises and was completed in the order of our requests. We paid a small fee for the installation crew to remove and reinstall all hardware for the drapes and blinds and it was definitely worth it. The interior and exterior weatherproofing was a plus. The exterior caulking was thorough and neatly done. The clean-up after installation was also great. We would definitely recommend Next Door & Window to anyone needing new windows.

Great experience

It was great. The installers arrived on time and were courteous and professional. One door was on the 3rd floor which required them to haul up the parts 3 floors which they did with a smile on their faces. The finished result was excellent and we are very satisfied.

Exceptional! From the beginning of the process with the salesman, through to the completion of the project yesterday, the experience was amazing. The installers were craftsmen. They did their work with a sense of joy. My interaction with them was professional and great fun. They asked questions throughout the installation to make certain the final product was perfect. I'd hire this firm again in an instant.

TERRIBLE customer service and terrible quality control processes. They made a mistake with the glass cutouts for my door and they have yet to fix it 5 weeks after the door arrived, and they have not proactively followed up with me on the issue. I have to be the one to keep calling and texting them. When I do finally get a person on the phone, they make excuses and then they promise me they'll look into the issue and get back to me in a day or two. They haven't kept a single one of their commitments to follow-up with me or to fix the issue. The irony is that I actually caught the issue for them when they sent me the contract. It didn't specify the name of the glass I requested so I asked the sales rep to modify the contract to include that. He said that's just the way they write their contracts and he assured me the glass I requested is what would be in the door. After waiting 4 months for the door to arrive - you guessed it: wrong glass. Turns out the glass I requested isn't even available. The sales rep blamed it on an out of date catalog and completely dismissed my point that if he had written the name of the glass on the contract as I asked, the issue would have been caught earlier. I get the feeling that once they get your money, they could care less about you. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the installer did an excellent job and he actually seemed to care about my satisfaction.

The entire process was great and pretty seamless. Next Door and Window completed the job as promised, the work was great and the products they sold us were of high quality. The price for the entire job was higher than we anticipated but we are happy with the end result. The entire installation process was done in one day and the entire area was cleaned up. The doors and materials removed during the installation process was all removed as well.

Very well. The team discovered that the windows we previously had were installed without any insulation and added it free of charge. Despite the roadblock they were still done in a matter of hours and I'm very happy with our new windows. Our bedroom maintains a stable temperature now, which will be a lifesaver with winter coming.

Soon after I signed the contract, a second person came to my house to measure. I do not know if this is usual with ordering new windows but I felt it showed an attention to detail. The manufacturing of the new windows took a bit longer than I expected. However I would prefer taking a little extra time and doing things correctly. I was kept informed of any differences from what we originally discussed. To me, these differences were inconsequential but I am pleased that I was contacted regarding them. Once the windows were delivered to NEXT, I was contacted and arranging a day for installation. Setting up an installation date was easy and was around my schedule. The day of installation the installers and delivers of the windows were very prompt and on time. Installation was quick and efficient and completed in a few hours. The installers were attentive to my household possessions (e.g. floor covering and drop cloths were used). Questions were answered and things explained to me during and after installation. I am very satisfied with the work and product and there is no doubt in my mind that I would use NEXT for a similar project in the future.

From the initial visit by Scott L., to show me options and give me an estimate to the installation by Kris, everything was very professional, timely and efficient. Next Door & Window kept me apprised of the progress of my order for the 2 ProVia doors and with the installation date. Customer Service is top notch and very upbeat and friendly. Every employee would go above and beyond, to make a customer happy and satisfied with their purchase. I paid more than I would have with a "big box store" product, but it is well worth it for the top quality of the doors I received and the service rendered by Next Door & Window.
