We love Tom with Builders Solution. He is very clean and does outstanding work. We just love our new bathroom. Hopefully if he is available, we will be using Tom for many more projects.

This team was totally professional and very neat. They took out existing floor tile in 3 rooms and replaced it with slate, which is probably the most difficult flooring to work with. They took their time and made sure that each tile was aligned and level and that the color patterns went together well. They also replaced all of the baseboards and thresholds where the slate met my hardwood floors. They exceeded my expectations, and I have beautiful floors that have received numerous compliments.

Dan did very detailed work, was kind and informative throughout process. His insights were spot on.

Dan was incredibly efficient and professional. He did an amazing job on tiling my basement floor- which was a tough job because of the nature of the uneven floor. The finished product looks excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone.

It was a pleasure to have Dan working in my home. He was responsive, reliable, prompt, friendly and polite. He works slowly and meticulously and was extremely neat. All cutting was done outside the home and all scraps were picked up at the end of the job.

Dan was great! He's meticulous with his work and did an incredible job with our bathroom. I highly recommend him. He took a few more days than originally estimated but the quality of his work more than offset that.

In a cluttered Boston market for tile installation services, I asked 5-6 service providers to submit bids on a time sensitive job in the heart of Fenway. Metropolitan Tile and specifically Dan Ngyan distinguished himself from the other vendors from the begining of the bid process. My decision to hire Metropolitan Tile was not specifically based on their bid but based on the trust and confidence that Dan showed and expressed while first on-site. Needless to say I was not disappointed with the work or their committment to complete the job on a very aggressive schedule which included working through a weekend. My recommendation is unconditional.

You won't go wrong hiring them. Showed up on time, excellent work, clean at the end and they were very pleasant to work with.

Overall Dan did a great job installing our ceramic tile floor, but the project took a little longer than expected. Looking back, the only thing I would ask him to do differently is perhaps communicate a little better. The grout width and type should determined before the start of the project to avoid confusion. I had purchased the grout he had specified in his email, and was later told I needed a different kind for some reason. My bathroom floor looks awesome though!

Dan did a beautiful job. I can't see how it could have been any better. He was friendly, polite, and considerate.

I had my bathroom retiled, and Dan and Tom did a fantastic job. They were on time every day, and worked very long hours to get the job completed. They were neat and cleaned up at the end of every day, evening wiping the floors down. Their professionalism and abilities went over the top. The finished product was absolutely beautiful, down to the smallest details. For example, they were unable to get a threshhold for the shower stall that was wide enough, so they added a piece of marble to create a finished look. They did a great job, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I knew I wanted to hire Dan's company when he came over to my house to give me an estimate and carefully examined my basement floor so he could give me the best advice for tiling. Dan and Tom did a terrific job leveling my very uneven flloor and laying the tiles down beautifully. They were extremely pleasant people and totally professional. Dan responded to all my questions about the job and the cost with emails and in-person discussions. He and Tom completed the job by working vigorously every day until it was done. I highly recommend Metropolitan Tiling!

I originally just wanted one wall tiled where I had a full size window in my shower area replaced with a smaller window. Their prices were very reasonable and the work was excellant that I ended up having the walls tiled outside of the shower area along with a new tiled floor. They showed up on time and finished the job on time. I didn't give them much time to do the job because it was a rental appartment. They worked long hours and even into the weekend.

Dan was so nice and did a great job! The tile floor looks gorgeous! There was an issue with one of the pipes after they finished the job and they came back and fixed it the same day and even replaced some other pipes on our sink free of charge because they thought they may cause us problems down the road. I will definitely hire them again. They cut all the tile outside and there was nothing for me to clean up after they completed the job which is very rare!

Though the work they did met expectations, there were a couple of concerns about how the work was done. First, they cut the tile inside my condo without letting me know, leaving dust everywhere. Second, they did not cover anything with tarps - either inside the bathroom or on the path to the bathroom from the door. I was scraping grout and cement off my hardwood floors and still have to get a lot off my bathroom hardware. They did come back after I asked to scrub the excess grout off the bathroom floor. I think more care could have been taken, but the job itself came out well.

They did a wonderful job with our bathroom. Metropolitan Tiling stood by their estimate and were the most curteous vendor we dealt with when we remodelled our condo. I had 3 estimates for the tiling job and Metropolitan Tiling was the best. Highly recommended!

Dan was very professional, thorough and conscientious. I was very pleased with the work and he did a great job despite some problems he had from people not paying attention to his advice. I would definitely recommend him to other people.
