"I am sorry you see the project as this way. It is not my intention to negate the way you feel but I would like to add a few details which I see that are misunderstood. We were not hired to diagnose the cause of the water hammering at all. We were hired as the lead details describe to rebuild the manifold because of leaking valves and the age of the system. As we were were walking through the rebuild of the manifold is when we were told about the severe water hammering and you had said even the sink in the house was leaking due to that. I informed you that it could be that there was trapped air in the lines and that if it was the cause when I rebuilt the manifold It would release the trapped air bubbles and if that was the problem hopefully that would take care of it. We completed the project and fulfilled everything that was contracted and even worked with you to drop the price to help you stay within your budget. I would like to mention that you had said you were referred to a plumber previously for the same diagnosis as I gave you the information for. I still recommend that you get a plumber to evaluate the water pressure as well as the appliances running the water through them as that is the most likely culprit. I understand your frustration and that you had said the water hammering did not start until another gentleman replaced your backflow. I was merely trying to lead you in the only direction that I see would help in getting a licensed plumber to evaluate inside the house and I recommended that because that is the proper professional to diagnose the issue. In closing I am truly sorry that you have the water hammering still and I never said I could diagnose the issue and the sprinkler work done is not the problem it is coming from inside the house. Once diagnosed by a professional plumber I would love to know what the issue was if you would be kind enough to post back on here. If it has anything to do with our work I would gladly take care of it at no cost as we always warranty our craftsmanship. I hope you can find a resolution to the water hammering but my professional opinion is it has to do with the pressure and appliances that it is distributed to which only a plumber can diagnose.
