Nick's Appliances

We called Nick who replied right away and said he would come over. Some guy named Alex showed up from another company. Said Nick was too busy. He just looked at it, said the fan was broke and said he needed to order part. Charged our credit card for $280 and never came back. Called Nick who said he would come over and fix for free. Never showed up. It is now 3 months. We have been ripped off! Do not use this guy.

Do NOT hire these guys! I spoke with Nick who sent out Alex W. Alex found the problem with the refrigerator but said he needed to order parts and would be back. He asked for $237 in a check made out to him. I heard nothing for a week. Spoke with Nick and he said he would call back in 20 minutes. I have tried to contact Nick by phone, txt and Home Advisor msg and he has not bothered to respond. Nicks Appliances is nothing but a con. Do NOT hire these guys!

Worked with Nick for a microwave repair. Of course it was working when he came! But he took it apart, found out that the original installer had failed to remove some shipping pieces! He also offered to come back within 30 days if it stops working again. So far it is ok! He said he also repairs other small home appliances, so good to know!

I would not recommend this particular repair person. He was very difficult to reach after the initial visit and pre-payment. He said he would call me back on a couple of different occasions to install a part for my dryer - and he did not. I had difficulty reaching him - the number on the home advisor site was not working and he did not have a website that I could locate. I tried calling his cell several times. He finally sent someone else to install the part - a week later. I do not recommend doing business with him and I recommend that Home Advisor take him off their list of professionals.

Nicks appliance repair is a complete rip off!!! So called repaired/serviced my dryer. One week after repair/service I called Nick back and reported the same noise was occurring again. He scheduled an appointment to come review or investigate further and never showed up or called. Now today my dryer is not working. Called another service technician who found that the pulley was bad and should have been noticed during the service call with Nick. I?m PISSED!!! HomeAdvisor should remove Nick?s appliances and assist me in getting a refund for the rip off. I?ll be reporting this higher to the BBB. This is robbery.

I hired this company. We texted back and forth and arranged a time for the tech to show up. Made sure I was there and looking out the window with my phone in hand just in case. He never showed. No answer to phone calls and texts. It was too late and could not get someone else that day. Had to start all over the next day.

I have used HA for several years now and have always been extremely happy with the Pros I have hired. Even when the service did not go as planned, the Pro attempted to make it right. My dryer was not working properly and I hired Nick to fix my dryer. He responded immediately and came out the next day to fix the dryer. Unfortunately, he did NOT fix it nor did he come back out as promised and per his 30-day guarantee. I am beyond upset! My dryer is not working I have paid someone to fix it and now have to pay someone else to fix it. Not to mention my husband left work early 2 days in 1 week to meet Nick to rectify the original misdiagnosis only for him NOT to show! My only disappointment is I cannot rate Nick a)!!

lots of promises to come repair my dishwasher and did not ever show up or call, except one time when his hired helo showed up without notice and wanted to be paid before even looking at the dishwasher. I was at work and my husband did not have the money, so he left and told my husband he would not be able to come back until a week later. Is been 10 days since I requested help and still have not heard from them even with promises to come twice.

They arrived on Motherâ s Day! Fixed my Microwave and Vent Hood quickly. Very happy, excellent knowledge, polite and outstanding. Highly recommend.
