Nick gave a very professional presentation. He arrived promptly on the first day of the project with his daughter as his helper. On day one, they left after about an hour to go get the floor sander. At 3:20 I checked in with them and they were taping up plastic protection in the 1st of 4 rooms being refinished. I was not available on day 2, but they were not there at 7 AM or at 8:30 PM. WHen he arrived the morning of day 3 to put on the "3rd" coat he asked me to go see the floor. The floor at that time was very irregular in the shine. He said that would be better after the 3rd coat. I paid him after he applied the 3rd coat, with the agreement that if it still did not look well, he would be back 2 days later with a buffer and apply an additional coat of poly. Not only did the floor not look even, you could see where he had used a roller to apply the poly and there was distinct edges from the overlap. Some areas looked as if they had received no poly; the surface was bumpy, either from bubbles in the poly, or more likely sanding debris. It has been 4 days and no response from Nick. His business phone answering machine is full and I can't leave a message, so I have emailed. No response. The finished product is absolutely unacceptable. Irregular and rough, I have had floors refinished before. I know what it should look like. This isn't it. My understanding of floor refinishing is that there is drying time between coats, and fine sanding between coats. This whole project took 2 1/2 days. He presented himself as a professional, but it was an amateur quality job.

Very professional. Always on time. Great work. Doesn't stop until customer is completely satisfied. Will use again.

At the end of each work day tools and supplies were gathered to minimize any chance of overnight mishap. The work was completed with the estimated time frame. Overall I am happy with the installation.
