Our pool monthly service account was bought by Nicks Pool Solutions from another pool service company back in April 2022. Nicks services were great at first. They were very professional and timely. We never had any problems with them. However, we are very disappointed to write this review. Things have changed drastically since early August. We needed to have the housing replaced due to a crack at the union which was causing an excessive leak (not just a drip or two). They provided us with a quote (over 500.00). We accepted the quote and paid right away. We had to call multiple times to see when the repair would be done. They said they were coming out to repair the problem and they would never show. Took 2 weeks of us calling to get them to finally come out to fix the problem. Side note: almost 2 weeks of water leaking caused our water bill to increase by 25%. While they repaired the housing they either cracked a pipe/joint or did not replace the seals because now we have air being sucked into the pool lines. Called many times about this problem and we get the runaround. We are now in week 4 of them saying they are coming to fix the problem and again they never show. We also had a salt error code on our display for weeks. We reported this problem and they said the service tech would fix it during his weekly cleaning. He never did! So we decided to review our home security cameras to see what exactly is being done on our weekly pool services. We found they have not been putting salt into our saltwater pool for a few weeks. We finally get in touch with the service tech and he informs us he was not aware our pool was salt water. No one at the pool company told him our pool was saltwater (Even though our display clearly shows we have a saltwater system). He did come back that day with a bag of salt. He also stated he talked to his boss and they will be out on Thursday to fix the air problem and yet again no one shows. So, I called Friday morning to cancel their services and the lady on the phone asked why. So I explained the situation. She stated she would have someone call me to fix the situation immediately and yet again no call. Their lack of action speaks volumes about their business acumen. We DO NOT recommend it.
