The repair man which did the the repair was not that friendly. He wanted $200 down before ordering the part. He resisted taking a credit card. According to the Internet the part cost was $135. He wanted the refrigerator shut down 24 hours before installing the new part. The refrigerator was down for 28 hours. He came and installed the new part. Total time 2 trips 30 minutes. His shop was in Sheboygan WI 20 minutes away. He charged about $400 for the job. The estimate was about $300. I feel I was over charged for this project. Parts cost to him $135, labor and travel $265,which equates to 210 minutes. This $1.262 per minute or $75.72 per hour which is outrageous for an appliance repair. I will never have a job done again by this person or use home advisor again. I feel we were slaves to this rip off. On his return trip he had other jobs in this area.

He quoted me a repair price and expected payment for the job before the part even arrived. I went and purchased one of parts (filter) before I would pay him $85 to do nothing. The 2nd part was no longer needed all of a sudden.

Repair Service Tech was very prompt to arrive and quickly found the problem. Had needed part on hand and repaired dryer. Tech was very polite and repair cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Mr. Appliance to anyone in need of repair service
