About us

In 1998 Nix Termite was launched with the goal of providing the community with a full-service, environmentally-friendly pest control company, providing fumigation and pest control services to homeowners, corporations, and associations serving the San Diego County area. Nixtermite specializes in pest, termite control and repairs, while providing customers with knowledge of how and why we do our job. Nix Termite is a family owned and operated by Chris Aguilar. Chris has worked in the pest and termite industry since 1988 and holds and operators license with the Structural Pest Control Board of California (OPR9816), a California general contractors license (CSLB #969742), certification and a Water damage restoration and Mold Technician with IICRC and is certified as a the owner of a Lead safe company owner. When asked about Nix Termites success Chris attributes it to the “commitment and dedication to using the best people, products and treatment techniques to serving our customers”.

When NixTermite called me to to schedule my appointment, Jennifer was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They came to my property the very next day and confirmed my suspicions that I did indeed have termites, and needed to get my house tented. I was worried that it would be an incredibly long process and very tedious. The office staff was very helpful on the phone when I asked questions regarding the fumigation process and were very forthcoming with any information that I needed in order to prep my house for the tenting of my home. The crew that showed up to do the work was very prepared and did a wonderful job. When I came back to my home everything was cleaned up on the exterior and it seemed like they were never even there. Everything was exactly as I left it. I hope I don't have to use their services for a very long time but if I do have a termite problem in the future, I will definitely be calling NixTermite and will recommend them to all my friends and family!
