Beware! Do not do business with this company. It took him 5 months to finish a 10'x 70' patio. Of all the other 5 star ratings, I have to guess that these may have happened well. But what this company did to my patio is a shame. Its one of those very visible details that would bother you every time you see it. The job was a large format stamped brick pattern in slate black. He seemed very confident and knowledgeable, so we hired him, though his price was over that of others by more than $1800.00. We wanted the front porch with large columns to be done right as they are the a focal point of the home. We contracted in June, it took a couple of days to pour and do the first coats of color (black), but he wanted to put the final color coating on after the construction was complete. We paid him in full knowing the colorant was not complete. The construction crew properly covered the newly stamped immediately after it was ready and worked for another 3 weeks. Then we contacted Ulises regarding the messed up stamped pattern we found after the protection was removed, around the end of June. The stamping was almost smooth at one end and the simple brick pattern had been completely mis-aligned right in front of large french doors. The pattern is not the standard running bond brick pattern but 2 rows of rectangular stamping all in a single line. Large format and very noticeable. Especially due to the location in front of the doors. When I called to tell him this he yelled at me "you can't do anything about that now". Which tells me he knew those 3 weeks of the problem of the pattern and the smooth not rough surface of the last 15 feet of the patio. The stamping on one end of the patio is properly cleft and on the other end almost smooth with the grout joints almost invisible. All the grout seams, which we discussed in detail prior to hiring him were never detailed, smoothed or dressed as discussed and now looks like a sloppy line of cement. We called, were very polite not mentioning the issues and couldn't get him to return until November to apply the final coat of black finish to make it look like black slate. That didn't happen. It has black blotches, more gray than black and less color at the "problem" end of the patio. We are totally disappointed. Paid in full, even before the final coat was applied when he came looking for some money before he was done. This person will be wonderful until he messes up your job and you then become the problem with the project. When he did come back in November, he showed up, seemingly bothered by it, applied a coat of color, got in his truck and left. Not telling us he was done, or allowing us to inspect it before he left. I hope nobody gets involved with a company where a problem job gets the same treatment we did. Don't buy into the "I'm a good guy" story. He is a liar and a fraud

My house was built in 1982 and the driveway always reflected that. There were cracks running all through it, moss growing all over it and we had a huge 5 foot sinkhole that appeared a few years ago underneath the bottom left portion. I called nola Concrete to get an estimate back in March and they came out promptly. For the size of my driveway and the cost of filling in the sinkhole and compounding the ground, I felt they were quite reasonable so I went ahead and scheduled with ulises for the work to be done. The men showed up right at 7 am as promised and got to work. They were incredibly professional, hardworking and thorough. Day one, the old driveway was ripped out and a huge mess of dirt and gravel was left. I have pictures of my kids arriving home and playing in the rubble (what fun!). Day two, the men arrived right at 7 am as well and got down to business quickly. By 2pm, my new beautiful driveway was complete and was absolutely perfect! I can’t believe how different and amazing it looks. I told my mom it’s like I have the driveway of a Hollywood mansion now and my house looks like a million bucks! I would recommend nola Concrete to anyone looking to redo their driveway and I will at any opportunity.
