Nordvind Sewer Service, LLC

We had Nordvind Sewer out to do a simple scope and jet on our sewer line. They discovered a blockage, and then worked all day long to try and fix it. This in and of itself is not an issue. What is an issue is that they had no discussion with us regarding any extra charges this was going to incur and just kept poking around in our basement until the whole day was used up and nothing was accomplished (we still donâ  t even know if they scoped and jetted the line like they came out to do). They presented us with a bill for almost double what was originally quoted. But the story does not end there. They offered to use a portion of the overpayment on the final fix, and they came back with two numbers. Literally just two numbers for two different options, in a text, no explanation of what those costs covered or how much of a credit we were getting. We asked for a formal quote of those two options and they transferred those two numbers onto one piece of paper, again zero information of what those numbers actually meant. We asked for a breakdown of what was in those costs (time material, credit, etc) so we could go get comparable bids (something THEY recommended we do), and then there was silence. We heard nothing back from them. We then went and got several other companies to come out and look at the issue. Every other company was able to diagnose the problem within minutes, stopped working and gave us a bid with a breakdown of costs. None of them had any prior knowledge of what we went through with Nordvind going into their quote process, but after we mentioned our experience, everyone had the same response: â  Why would you take all day to look at this, itâ  s obvious what the problem is.â  The moral of this story is, that if you are looking for a competent company, I would suggest you stay away from Nordvind Sewer. They talk like they care about you, and want to be taken serious as a genuine small family company, but it seems like they donâ  t know what they are doing and are just stabbing in the dark trying to figure it out, all of which will in the end cost you a lot of time and money.

They are very good people, reliable and they stick to their bids.

These guys did a great job. They were extremely responsive and better priced than the 2 other companies I had called to get our septic repaired. Great communication with me and my tenants and even came back out the next day right away when our septic alarm went off again. Easy company to work with, will definitely keep them on my call list if we ever have issues again!

Talked to 15 year old Grandson and didn't reach out out to me but came a day early and a week later I still have no invoice.

Eric Peterson was extremely personable, attentive, and quick to respond to our calls and answered all our questions. We did not have to wait long for his team; they diagnosed the problem and replaced the D-box and dug a new field the same day. Will continue to use them to pump the system as the last company we used had terrible customer service.

We asked they to prove the repairs were done, not only did they not complete the work but could prove the work was done. left a Mess. Rescheduled appointment without telling us costing us time and wages lost due to the reschedule. Then they changed the cost of repairs above what was quoted let alone the fact they didn't prove the repairs were done. Septic was pumped so we aggreed to pay for that only!

They showed up early which was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful to have a report for the closing on my home. Will hire them again.

They came and did the job while I was organizing my office, so I didn't have time to really interact with John, however John and in sidekick got the job done, and the lawn was back to where it is not noticeable that it had been dug up.

Tried to tip the operator before he left but he refused and said it was all part of Nordvind's service. Very professional very fast and very helpful with advice for maintaining the system in the future.
