I hired North Cal Services to install approx. 1000 sq ft of vinyl planlk flooring. Rudy and his crew did an excellent job on my floor. Rudy has great customer services he answered all my questions and explained the process very well. Rudy and his crew were very neat and clean, they cleaned up the work areas every evening. They helped me move my furniture from room to room, that was a great help to me. They did an excellent job and the floor looks GREAT. I had planned to do the installation myself, but so happy I had Rudy take care of that. Once again it was an excellent job, I would recommend North Cal to anyone and I am pleased with the final product. Thanks Rudy and Crew.

This crew was great to work with. They exceeded my expectations. I appreciated the way Rudy communicated with me before and during the job. I will use them again. Cost was higher than I anticipated but you get what you pay for.

Rudy did not deliver on what the reviews showed. He left my floor install with glue residue everywhere that he did not clean up, holes in the walls that I had to ask to be fixed, trim not secured even though promised to come back and fix, cigarette butts, sawdust and piles of wood in my front yard that I had to clean up. And, when asked to come back under warranty to fix the separations in my floor, 9 months later from contact, nothing. Very disappointing, since I was a very patient and paid in full customer. Maybe if you hire this company through Lowe's it will work better for you since I was left a house in a mess for weeks so he could take care of his Lowe's customers, he did not want to do my job and took another 9 months to finally do the job, took the money anyway and did not honor his warranty, my floor is a disaster and after 9 months of contact and waiting nothing, no contact, no word. Do not hire this contractor if you want your floor done do it so there is accountability, seems to this company's priority. Horrible experience! Don't recommend!

"This is a very unfortunate situation. Sometimes we try to do a thing for our customers, to help them out. Things that we would not recommend you do, but that it is the customers only option. We did not want to install this flooring. She got it on clearance from lumber liquidators for .80 cents an sq ft. Then stored it in her garage for 2 years. The flooring was Tong and grove strand bamboo. These floors even in pristine conditions are questionable about there performance here in WA. In most cases, you would also need to purchase a humidifier for your home to maintain the proper moisture content. She informed me that she was on a budget and that she could not return her flooring. She would have needed to buy new flooring at 5 dollars an sq ft but did not have that kind of money. We also had to demo out 2000 sq ft of tile before installing the new bamboo. So the subflooring was not the best. This was a very nice house but the tile work was horrible. There was like 5 different patches of tile, so five rooms that connect to each other with different tile. Looked really bad. Other contractors had already given her other bids. The tile demo other contractors had quoted was 10 thousand alone. I agreed to install it for her. I thought I was doing her a favor. I did everything for under 10 thousand. I informed her I would only be able to warranty my work for 3 months because of the flooding conditions. This is alive and learns the situation for me. I shouldn't have installed this flooring since I was not able to warranty it. With her flooring discount and my discount, she got all the work done for around 12 thousand parts and labor. A good quality strand bamboo would coast that alone. This job would cost around 25 thousand to have done it correctly. I will make sure to only do work I can warranty from now on."

From the crew to the work & the communication, all I can say is Absolutely Perfect! Cost more then I thought it would but the quality is outstanding. Time will tell if the tile work holds up. No reason for it not to. Rudy & crew did the leveling method and it's worth the extra time & money.

This is a small but tightly run business. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Accommodating, friendly, honest AND at a great price. These cats a straight up and professional. Zero complaints.

My final inspection revealed shoe scuffs on the flooring left by the workers during install. These are only visible in certain lighting situations but extremely difficult to remove. I made a complaint about it. North Cal responded immediately and the problem was resolved. I would hire them again without hesitation.

We made an excellent choice when we had North Cal Services do our vinyl plank floors and tile. They were both professional and pleasant. Rudy Milanez came to give us an estimate. Having had several other companies out before, we knew we had several problem areas, but Rudy had solutions. Both men were hard workers, but they went the extra mile. Every night they moved a small couch so my husband could watch the news and baseball. We highly recommend North Cal Services and plan to use them on our next project.

Not only did they do a great job, they actually cleaned up EVERY night before they left for the evening. WOW! They did excellent work, very personable, great eye for style and color and were very detailed. I would recommend them to anyone. My bathroom is really the most beautiful room in my house. Can't wait to do the kitchen!

Rudy is wonderful. He and his hardworking helper, Jeff, arrive on time EVERY day. They are efficient, hardworking, and skilled. The project is ahead of schedule! They clean up the place after their long work days. I could not be happier. Rudy is so easy to work with. He listens to my requests and he makes wonderful suggestions. He is very professional, but also very personable. He is doing a wonderful job on all aspects of our kitchen remodel. He clearly knows what he is doing. You couldn't go wrong hiring this excellent contractor.

On the positive side: The installation was overall quite good. The project was on schedule and on budget. Further Rudy accommodated two change of dates of installation. He helped us identify good floors. On negative side: The contractor threw used-blades in backyard which is potentially dangerous given that I have 4-year old. Damaged a door (size of three quarters put togethe); but never came back to repair despite repeated emails. Regarding installation - there are gaps in some places between planks - he never came back to repairthem. He promised a 1-year warranty; but never stood by that promise. All in all, it left a bad taste.

Rudy is a very nice and polite contractor, he was able to complete our flooring upgrade even before time. We got around 700sqft living area upgraded from carpet to Bamboo wood flooring and Rudy did the job in 4days including the fireplace upgrade from tile to Granite slab. He was very helpful in picking up all the material from the vendor that we ordered and also reused lot of material like base boards etc......The only thing for which i wont rate him ver good is, the after job cleaning was not professional and also the Granite slab polish was not done good, may be because he was in a hurry to finish on time, but, otherwise he is perfect

Rudy gave me a very fair bid on my floors. I was very specific about how I want my floors done. Rudy work with me and also gave me a lot of good Ideas like the sealant for the concrete and not use plastic vinyl, it might of cost a little more but in the long run this will keep the moister out for a much longer time. He also remodeled my family room; electoral outlets and receding lights, laundry closet and wire for surround sound. Very trust worthy and very fast worker. If it was not for the wood floor delay because it was back ordered, he would of finishes the job in 2 weeks. I will defiantly use North Cal Services again and recommend to friends and family
