After getting 5 bids, I selected North Dallas Renovations to fully remodel my home's primary bathroom. I regret my decision and want others to avoid my mistake. If you value your time, your money, or your home, look elsewhere for your next home remodeling project. It's been 10 weeks since the start of what was supposed to be a 3 week project and it's still not finished. The Construction Manager has been very slow to respond (I've been waiting nearly a week for him to return a phone call) and since they have most of the money all urgency is gone. Most aspects of the job have been re-done at least once because NDR uses unskilled subcontractors who do sloppy work. The same two subcontractors demoed, laid tile, finished drywall, plumbed, and painted. Their first attempt at squaring a shower surround wall failed and they spent a week trying unsuccessfully to fix it. Tile work in the shower niche and around the tub was sloppy with uneven grout lines and had to be completely redone. I do appreciate that NDR brought in additional, more specialized subcontractors to correct all the mistakes that the first two made. Why weren't they doing the work the first time? I'm also disappointed by NDR's lack of quality control. It's been incumbent on me to scrutinize every aspect of the job; if I didn't point out the flaws, they wouldn't have been fixed. I hired what I thought was a reputable general contractor for them to engage skilled subcontractors and to supervise their work, saving me the hassles of managing a remodeling project. NDR has done an objectively poor job in this regard at an above-average price.

Kyle Smith and his team did an excellent job of determining what was needed after we sustained water damage from our neighbors burst pipe near a shared wall. NDR is solutions oriented and is very good about watching the dollars. they are also experienced in dealing with insurance claims. I highly recommend them for small or large projects. Once they showed up to start, there was no let up or down time. I was impressed.

Kyle, Brady and the crew were exceptional. Very professional and responsive to questions - many questions. Excellent results! Already requesting estimate on another project. Definitely recommend them!

Kyle and his team did an awesome job for us. We did a major renovation on the first floor of our house; laundry room, bath, dining room, kitchen and den. We opened up walls, removed fur downs that hid lots of unexpected pipes, a/c and plumbing and took everything to stubs. It did take longer than we hoped and we lived in chaos for awhile. On top of that it was a pandemic and we were all home, so I expected the worse but it went relatively smoothly. When things weren't right, Kyle made sure they done to our satisfaction and we are thrilled with the results!

Very pleasant experience dealing with honest, straightforward, and open communications. Contractor provided numerous cost-effective and ergonomics suggestions resulting in absolute 1st class quality and appearance throughout. Friendly crew and always on time and wiling to make any minor changes requested. Regular presence by company owner insured quality and timelines of finished product. The onsite supervisor was simply outstanding.

Outstanding. Our scope of work - we were wanting our ceiling renovated. We live in an old church. The original ceiling is wood planks but it has been covered for many years by ugly sheetrock. We wanted the sheetrock and all the nails removed, non-functional fluorescent light fixtures and another chandelier removed, ceiling cleaned and the spaces between planks caulked, new gas/electrical lines run for a new HVAC system we are going to have installed and new lighting installed. Kyle answered our request for a bid very promptly. Within the week, he sent a text and scheduled an appointment to come and bid our project. He came to our house, we described the work we wanted to be done, he made notes and then let us know he would be in contact. The next week his company sent an email with information detailing their company and processes. The next day our bid was worked and attached to an email. The bid was detailed and to our satisfaction. NDR sent another email letting us know when a crew could come and start the work. We scheduled quickly. The next day, the crew was here with a supervisor. I described the work we wanted to have done to the crew and they immediately began work. The crew, Byron and Victor, were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property. There was another gentleman that came to help on the 3rd and 4th day, but I do not remember his name. He was just as professional as the other gentlemen. The job was big and tedious. Byron needed to replace a couple of places on the ceiling that were rotten and he did some carpentry magic. We were quite pleased with the patches. They blended right in with the aesthetic of the ceiling. Never once did I have any doubts that they knew what they were doing. It took four days. The crew did an amazing job under not so fun/glamorous conditions. At the end of every day, they cleaned up the area as was reasonable to the scope of work. The finished project was just as we envisioned. Brady came at the end of the day on the last day with a large trailer and helped load and break down the work area. It was a hot and humid day and I did not envy them. We believe the price was fair, the quality of work worth every penny and they met the deadlines. We have other future renovation/remodeling projects coming up in the future and we will be contacting NDR to do those projects for us. I would recommend NDR to anyone looking for a trustworthy company to come into your home and do the job you want.

We have hired Kyle's team for 2 remodels (Master Bathroom and Kitchen). Kyle is honest in his pricing and project timeframe. His team are hardworking, considerate, and will keep working until the project is complete. We highly recommend North Dallas Renovations and would be happy to share our experiences working with Kyle.

Kyle and his team were fantastic! Received a detailed estimate, realistic time frame, and everything went according to the plan. The work was done specific to my requests, workers were professional and courteous. The finished product is exactly what I wanted from the project.

This is my second project Kyle and North Dallas Renovations has done for me this year (2018). He and his team recently painted an investment property for me and the work is exemplary. My Realtor was blown away by the job Kyle 's team did. He said, "a Painter can either make you or break you on a house!"...and my project was unbelievably perfect! Kyle is dependable and will offer great suggestions for your consideration. He goes beyond the call of duty to make the experience great... and his painters are awesome too!

Kyle Smith and his team are extremely professional and friendly. He is extremely accommodating and works with you. His team did an amazing job on our upstairs bathroom. They were always on time, friendly, and kept the place very clean! The refinish they did on the bathtub was especially amazing. We didn't have to buy a new tub. I would definitely recommend them for any remodel job. We plan to use them again to redo our kitchen floor.

Kyle and his team were truly amazing! Everyone that came out to the site, whether it be electricians or painters, were very professional and friendly. They helped us create a space that looks like a home for our homeless youth. We will use them again and highly recommend them!

Kyle and his employees were excellent to work with, everyone was polite and very friendly. They completed an entire home renovation within the timeframe discussed and everything was beautiful when done. I had new granite in bathrooms and kitchen. Outside and inside painted. New flooring throughout entire house. New lighting, new appliances, bathroom showers/tubs refinished. They weren't very many areas that went untouched. He coordinated all of the work needed which makes for a very pleasant and stress fee renovation.

It was great! Everything went well, fit within my budget, and he did everything the way we agreed. Has great suggestions. Work site was kept clean. They fit everything I was looking for!
