I had hired Sam Jenness last year for help with a backflow preventer problem, and he was professional. This year I hired him for landscaping and installing another zone with 5 sprinkler heads, and it was a disastrous experience. Sam failed to supervise the job by 2 helpers because he was absent most of the day on another project. He installed the sprinkler heads with 3 of the 5 heads sticking about 1 inch above the ground when not sprinkling, thus subject to damage by a mower. Repeated attempts to have Sam fix this problem met with no response. The sprinklers work, but I fear several will soon be damaged due to improper installation DO NOT HIRE NorthShire Landscaping. Their warranty is worthless. Their work is sloppy. Sam supervision over his assistants is inadequate, done via cell phone. Sam added charges to the job not prior stated.

The heads were subsequently reinstalled properly and the situation was remedied to the satisfaction of the customer.

Sam was nice enough and replied before and during work onsite. We had a new automatic irrigation system installed and was not home at time of install. Have tried for almost a year to get instructions on how to use the automatic system and has never returned emails or phone calls. Also landscaped our yard and along foundation of property. Attention to detail was not what someone would expect for any sort of landscape company. Many yard issues since and again no help from Northshire.
