George is very unprofessional. I have spent the last three years trying to work with George to get my gutters repaired after his team let old roofing dent and crease my gutter system during the process of replacing my roof. Additionally, there were issues with the flashing around the fireplace and skylights. George said he would not help. Then said he would, but he did not follow through and work with the gutter company that had the equipment needed to fix our seemless gutter system. Again, he said he would send someone out at one point he said he had obtained new gutter equipment and would have his team fix the gutters. Again, no follow through. When I did meet with George he was angry and used foul language. Through the loss of my dad, fighting cancer and COVID, George showed no compassion. He doesnt seem to care too much about his companys reputation, leaving me with severely damaged gutters and flashing issues. Please be careful with this company. Not at all trustworthy.

Great service. They put a beautify roof on our house and for a great value. Durning the tear off their was a rain storm in the forecast, so they brought out, what I assume was everyone in the company to ensure that our house was covered and we wouldn’t experience leaks.

The office kept me aware of work schedule and the workers kept me updated on issues and progress. It was a good experience. We had Roof replacement and gutters replaced they did a nice job with a good clean up when the job was completed.

This was a one-story home roof replacement selected through Home Advisor. Job estimate was the best of 3 and in my range. I agree with Cheryl H., George, the owner of NSS, was responsive, informative, professional and patient in explaining details of the job. The 8 man team completed the job in 12 hours on one day in early May. Clean-up was great. George came to the job site for a time too. Part of the job was to seal gutter joints but due to weather they had to come back in August, they didn't forget. Roof looks great, gutter joints don't leak. Highly recommend.

George, the owner of NSS, was responsive, informative, professional and patient in explaining all the details of the job he bid on. This was a replacement of a flat roof over a 4-unit condo building after it had leaked in the rain and been repaired by another company. The NSS bid was itemized and clear, and was also the lowest bid of 4 or 5 comparable bids. They did the work in less time than they had allotted, and gave us photos of the results. Our HOA is pleased with the final product. I recommend NSS Roofing.

Talk about an amazing company, i had a repair needed due to a home move and needed my exhaust pipes repaired to fix my leak and the job was done promptly and with great care. I really enjoyed how professional George was when answering my questions because i am not familiar with much when it comes to roofing. I recommend North Sound Services to anyone needing roofing.

We hired George to do a TPO roof in a high wind area. He said he had 30 years experience in TPO roofing and sold me on his personality and experience he said he had. Come to find out he was not certified to put on the TPO roof he picked to install and the roof leaked all over the place. Had to hire a consultant who had experience with this product to help George finish job correctly. My fault for not looking into this first, but he should never be installing a roof he is not certified to install. I hope his other TPO customers did not fall for this as well.

Everything about this company is exemplary! So, so easy to work with, and the work done was excellent! I'm so blessed to have found them. They were on time, gave good counsel, and helped make a messy job easy to live with! I highly recommend!

They did a great job and was very responsive in repairing damage caused by a wind storm after the roof was first installed. Their business communication was not very good. They gave us an estimated install date and never got back to us during a 5-week delay. Almost got another company because of the lack of communication.

Our roof had issues in the winter. We received a prompt estimate and set up a roof replacement. After January 1st the crew arrived and replaced our roof and some under sheeting. It has been almost 2 years now, and we have no issues. North Sound Services has a highly competent crew that knows how to work and get the job completed in Washington weather.

George promised us a quality job and a fair price. We were going to hire another contractor but he lowered the price and said he really wanted the job. We gave him the job, told him to take his time and do it right and safe. The job took a week +, they tried to collect a day prior to completion. Seemed In a hurry to collect and go, so that evening I came home from work to meet with his quality control rep. I did a quick walk around and the clean up was not complete yet. Said they would finish that up by tomorrow. It was almost dark, the roof shingles looked good. I was assured if anything is wrong that I see they would take care of it without a problem and quickly. So we wrote them a check against our better judgement and trusted what they promised, big mistake on our part!!.sigh. The weekend came and in the morning I and my wife went out to take another look at the job. What a surprise and disappointment, to all the damage done to our gutters. Dings, dents, area's bent where their ladders were put up and the guys were using the gutter as a hand hold only reason I could think of in order to bend the sides of the gutters?? Dent's and dings caused by the corners of the old tiles smacking the inside of the gutter walls as the old shingles came sliding down the roof. The gutter's were painted with the rest of the house last year. Not only damaged requiring replacement, but now the top of them had the paint chipped and scraped. These are expensive seamless gutters. A few areas they re-used the old brown flashing that was materials from our old roof. We (weren't) told that when using nails they would penetrate through our eaves causing an eyesore. Another roofing contractor we spoke to said they used to long of nails and did not have their nail guns set right. Our eaves had nails poking through about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch with the plywood that was just painted splintered wood chads hanging. When we called and gave George a list of things to correct he said he would be right out. He came out, walked around with me and cursed and said he's not replacing my gutters. Said he would cut the end of the nails but that's what they had to do to be in code. Yet had he told us that in the beginning we would have insisted they do whatever it takes to make it look good afterwards. He said he would have the brown flashing they re-used replaced. He asked me to consider some compensation for the damage to gutters. He left and might I say his attitude was not the professional one he had when he sold the job to us. Finally a few weeks later some guy came out and replaced one piece of the old brown flashing, but left the others at the top. Old reused Brown flashing on a coal colored roof...Really?? We paid the cash, in full for the whole job which was to include all new materials, not reusing some of the old. It's been months now with us calling and they ignored our calls. North Sound Services just told us last month there not doing anything. George cussed at my wife, said were being too picky. George told us to take him to court and he would win. He would have to replace some of the gutters as they can't be repaired according to a gutter contractor we had come out to look at it and gave us a bid for $800.00. The eaves are going to cost around $500.00. The flashing another $200.00. He may win as it sounds like he's been in court a lot, why is that? Were hoping we get a fair judge that will make NSS do the right things as that is what they were paid to do and honor their workmanship guarantee they give. We don't recommend NSS, no matter how cheap or good of job they promise. Home owner BEWARE!!

Being a former licensed contractor I recognize good work when I see it. Their work met all my expectations and then some. The employees were always polite and willing to answer all our questions. Would definitely hire them again.

Very professional job, very nice crew, took only a day and a half to complete the roof and left everything as it was. Would recamend them to any of my friends and family.

Incredible!! they were here 4 days and when they left you would never know they had been there. Respectful nice men with great work ethic, and the roof looks awesome. My neighbor was so impressed she hired them to do her roof next week. HIRE THEM!

So responsive, good humored, speedy and high quality. They were in and out in a day and a half. The work seems to be of a very high quality. I am now editing this as things have changed very greatly. We needed some advice and possibly some work done under the warranty. Somebody came by and said that he would have a crew around in a week to assess what needed to be done. Nobody then showed up. I tried to contact him and he never picks up the phone and his voicemail is full. I then contacted them via Facebook and after a few civil comments back and forth and promised they would find out what was going on, out of the blue they blocked me. I then took a letter to their location in Ferndale and put it through the door. They have not responded to this either. I have literally never encountered customer service like this. We have a 15 year warranty (actually, it could be longer than that) and paid $15,000 for the roof to be replaced. Now apparently have no recourse with regard to this warranty whatsoever. I am at a loss as to what to do next. Work seems to be fine but if that changes down the road I have no idea how we would get the issue looked at. I really did not do anything to deserve being blocked and ignored in this way. It makes me think this is a very dishonest business.
