"This project was an issue from the start to finish. The owner requested, and supplied, his own engineers for the drawings and they were incomplete and inaccurate. We had a tremendous headache getting the job permitted due to all the revisions that were required to be made to the plans. The drawings were done by a person using the engineers license and was not an actual engineer. Then it was almost impossible to contact this engineer. After months of follow ups and changes we finally got the permit. We incurred a great deal of administrative expense and did not pass theses expenses on to the customer. We hired a subcontractor who did not perform as expected and we failed a few inspections. All the while the customer was behaving in an unacceptable and rude manor towards anyone who went on his property. I had several contractors refuse to go back to the job. We had to replace these contractors and the process of doing this is cumbersome. It involves revising the permit which takes time. In the end the customer got a great product that was built correctly and passed all inspections. Needless to say we no longer employ any of the crews that contributed to the missteps on this project. We have been in business 15 years and this is the first review of this nature. We have taken steps to insure this will never happen again. We now will only use our engineers that know how to design, create accurate drawings and have our own in house crews trained by us so this never happens again."

"This job was satisfactorily completed to the owners approval and full payment. The permitting took along time due to engineering and back ups at the city and was beyond our control. The door company back ordered one of the trims and it took time to get it in. Meanwhile the owner gave us more work remodeling her bathroom. I have repeatedly asked to have this removed but have got no results"

"My tech under bid this job but we honored the price. Value should be a 5. There is no way anyone could perform this work for the price we did it for and still make money. We were the cheapest that's why we won the job. But we couldn't do the extra work that was asked and was not part of our scope without being paid for it. Sorry that would of really been a good deal though."
